One of my biggest pet peeves with Linux by far. Usually my use of Linux is generally just parsec and that’s it. But I can’t ever select the right driver, and then I forget, idk it’s a whole thing and I just wish it was baked in and easy, but then again it is linux

I am going to get this phone due to my carriers deals but, S23 battery has gotten significantly worse over the course of a year. Software updates have absolutely killed it, it’s about 1pm and I’m halfway through my battery, which isn’t as good as I used to get.

For those who want a good chip the 8 Gen 2 is the best I have ever used.

I’ve had a ton of bugs on iPhone. But I completely agree with you. especially for the average consumer, iPhone will be just the easy choice.

Also Pixel 6 is just god awful with bugs. At this point I don’t think Google can fix all of them, so many just feel related to the chip. I’d assume it’s better on their newer phones but you shouldn’t have to buy a newer phone to get a bug fixed.

I have been diehard android but this is really testing me. I want to use the best phone, and Apple had already been making the hardware. (Though, snapdragon 8 gen 2 has really redeemed itself, absolutely incredible, efficient and great chip. One of the reasons I just can’t see myself using a Pixel again)

Pixel has the smoothest experience in terms of animations, but they also have the shittiest hardware. Samsung is okay, and the snapdragon versions have usable battery and modems. Pixel’s SOC is hot garbage (though time will tell for pixel 8)
