[Help!]
Irgendeine Idee?
Hey #Linux gurus: When I use strfile, carriage returns get omitted from the strings. But it is clear from other fortune files that there is a way to compile the files without losing the carriage returns.
The man page doesn't show anything that would output a file with carriage returns intact. How is it done?
When you thought the #Linux server reboot would take 10 minutes and 20 minutes has passed and ping -a server_ip still says "Destination Host Unreachable" 😨 Also see ping command example tutorial https://www.cyberciti.biz/faq/unix-ping-command-examples/
I like to use OpenRGB to monitor operating temperature. The CPU fan reads the CPU temp, the window in front of my graphics card reads the GPU temp, and, for now, I have my keyboard reading the NVMe temp (just recently installed the NVMe). My mouse color is set by Piper/libratbag so I know what preset I'm using.
Finally ordered an old PC to use for self-hosting. Can’t wait to get my own cloud services at home, no more of Google annoying me about how I’m like 20 GB over my 15 GB Google Photos free storage. Any suggestions for the software/hardware? Still have to get an extra SSD as the boot drive and a monitor in the meantime.
@Tutanota
This is a goodnight step in the right direction.
But I'm far more concerned about the users of the main operating systems.
You can simply stop using #Meta products but we all depend on #Windows, #Android, #MacOS and #iOS. #Linux is definitely a mayor part of the solution, as well as Android #CustomRoms.
However, most people don't have the knowledge and/or will to use alternatives.
