There is a proposal [0] to modify the 'Find general sources' template [1]. The template is used on nearly a million Wikipedia pages (esp. talk pages, not articles). How can advocacy for a search engine monopoly be reduced (by practical editorial changes) in the English-language ?

This is a fundamental meta-academic question (reviews of knowledge) for which practical participation - with evidence and arguments - would be better than postmodernist gobbledegook or neoliberal empty rhetoric.

Being in Cambridge, today I’m fortunate to be able to attend ‘The Care of Is a Difficult Business’, a symposium honouring the legacy of Francis Jenkinson (1853 Aug 20–1923 Sep 21), librarian of Cambridge University Library from 1899 until 1923. A full day of excellent papers, display of Jenkinsoniana, and a reception are planned.

How many interviews have actually been done with homeless people? How many of their stories of struggle have you actually heard?

Few to none I'll bet. That's because everyone involved in producing the glamour of a thriving society makes it a priority to suppress just how badly it's failing.

Without context of where said interviews appear (though I assume you refer to “mainstream” media), you may be interested in some independent publications like (@streetrootsfeed), , or some other .

I didn’t realize there was a term for them until just looking for the name of the Danish one, but has a brief list of some.

Would be nice if these were better sourced by in mainstream .
