: and (also rain!) for a lot of leaves on the ground, but still colour to be found, especially in the understory and some plants /trees that turn later than others.
Top left Prunus- a plum variety growing well in the last few years-- after its pollinating mate died 🙄 Centre Ontario native Aralia racemosa ripened some berries, though the plants have mostly frozen down, now.

@plants @nature I would have had my for 26 done yesterday, but the laptop needed another reset, and haven't yet been able to re-install PhotoscapeX! Photos were already edited and I was able to use the old version Photoscape this morning to put them together, less fancy borders, but that's okay! details in replies

My shows that we are heading towards Autumn here in zone 5. The large sedums are just starting to bloom and the Solomon's Seal and Solomon's Plume have berries. The "Plume" berries aren't totally ripe yet.

I only have names for 2 of the sedums. The lower right corner is Mr. Goodbud (still in its pot and waiting to be planted) and just above it is Back In Black.

Another 'exciting' weekend at work, another late It's definitely now! We had a few 'hot' days this week, plus rain and a warning!
Bonus lots of them this year, contributing to probably our lowest mosquito season ever and a Lophocampa maculata the Spotted Tussock -much flashier at this stage!

Late summer/early fall (just a couple of weeks away, here) is peak season for many sorts. + a couple of pics from the that are hard to fit in colour themed collages- I don't have many in these shades! and for
@plants @nature
Top left and right- a couple of peas- I grow a number of mange-tout /snow peas/sugar peas and soup varieties- several start out as the first and mature to the second. Most of the flowers look like these-- some combination of pink or burgundy with white/lighter. I'd grow these just for the look of the plants-- I have some with deep violet pods also.

After last night's storm (& 2.5" of rain) many of the flowers lost their blossoms. However, these are all doing well for . There are even a few still blooming.

My first post. These are all day lilies that are blooming in the this morning. I think we have around 14-16 varieties so far this year. (I should probably go out and count them :ablobgrin: )

Here’s mine. Letting the grass grow certainly hasn’t stopped the flowers blooming. @gardening
