What games are your currently plaything through on your deck? Would you recommend them to other players?

I had fun playing it on PC, but the game is just that much more fun and immersive on the Deck. I’d say it’s the first game where I’ve noticed a big difference since I got my Deck last week....

I was on the edge buying the thing and told myself that if I use it 50 hours it’s a reasonable purchase. Now I’m sporting closer to 200h within one year I could not be happier....

I saw demos of Steam Input over the tubes and figured out I might be able to put together a mapping that makes Renoise the music tracker somewhat usable. I’ve had great success. Will be releasing the mapping on Steam as soon as I’ve seen it through some more iterations.

A few days ago I noticed a new problem with my right trigger: it wouldn’t press all the way down with the normal force I apply, I had to press extra hard for it to actually go over the treshold and become a click. This became an issue in a few games, like Days Gone....

I’m using medium settings with a few (clouds, fog) low ones. FSR is off for now, I did test it briefly on Ultra Quality and did not really notice any blurrong )though it was a brief test) The FPS I’m getting is mostly above 30 but varies a lot inbetween 25-40 (40 is my refresh rate cap)....

Still seems to be available now (not going to order a second one to confirm 😂)...

The absolute worst possible time for system and game updates is when I am booting up the device or starting a game....

Hello y’all, I’m at my wits end. I got the GoG version of BG3 (cause DRM free yay!), but for the love of me I cannot get it to work. I’ve done so much googling and so many workarounds, I’ve installed .net, I’ve skipped the launcher, I’ve used the alternate .exe, I’ve tried proton experimental and 8 and hotfix, but...

The steam deck feels very heavy holding it in everyway. It feels the heaviest in its hand grips. Does that feeling go away? It feels like I’m trying to hold a laptop.

How would you rate the OLED deck? Did you keep your LCD deck? Have you noticed any of the smaller improvements like a more responsive touch screen? Has the battery life improvement been noticable?

It causes a bunch of weird controller errors, such as when a controller disconnects (or if the deck goes to sleep), it can’t reconnect again....

So many times I forget to plug the deck or someone uses the charging cable for something else and I come back to play the next weekend and the deck is at 0%. Why doesn’t the deck have a deep sleep or hibernate mode on by default like my laptop or iPad?
