Many communities focus on various aspects of India, like memes, politics, movies and sports, just to name a few. These communities cater to the diverse online space for Indian topics and voices, and are collectively known as “Indiaverse”....
The instance I’m on just did the update and this comment highlighting is really throwing me off. It’s super glaring and unpleasant imo and I’d really appreciate the ability to turn it off. I’ve looked around a bit but haven’t found anything myself. Am I missing something?
I made the huge mistake of upgrading on the same day of the new release. I had copied my inventory folder to a new pull of lemmy-ansible, checked out 1.3.0, and ran it with no errors. But refreshing the took a very long time to load. The closest issue I found was at github.com/LemmyNet/lemmy/issues/4244 but that’s a deep dive...
I have “show read posts” unchecked, so I shouldn’t see them. I can still see them. I didn’t see them yesterday, when lemm.ee was 0.18. I do see them today after 0.19 update. I’ve toggled it on, saved, then off, saved. Still seeing read posts.
I have posted to the !evs community from my lemmy.ml account. However my post does not appear on lemmy.world/c/evs but it does appear on lemmy.ml/c/[email protected] ....
It seems like I’m logged out every time I initially load a page, but if I refresh the page or open a link (within my instance) in a new tab, I’m logged in again…...
Sometimes I find a meme or a photo on Lemmy which I’d like to share with people who are not on Lemmy. But when I share a link to something with a picture like lemmy.world/post/9593902 and someone clicks on it, they see a very small thumbnail and a title, it’s not clear that you’re supposed to click on that thumbnail to see...
Had this happen 2 times already and increasing the max memory seemed to fix it. Does lemmy need that much ressources or am I doing something wrong? I’m on the latest stable version
If I leave the site and come back the next day, I always have to log in again. Is that normal and desired behavior, or is that an issue? I don’t have my browser set up to delete cookies automatically....
I tried to login to my older account after being logged out for a while and I kept getting an error that my password wasn’t long enough as it needs to be 10 or more characters. But if I’m not mistaken, my password (which I had kept record of) is less than 10 characters and I can’t exactly change that....
This is a repost from the matrix & mastodon channel. My account was banned on the platform “lemmygrad.ml” without any explanation & indefinitely after not using it for 1 or 2 days, here’s my profile “lemmygrad.ml/u/abieNathanTheyThem”....
Since more than 1 month my account isn’t working on Jerboa. (Message: This account (NRDK) is being verified) However directly on lemmy.ml it works. Is there a solution to that problem?
Anyone have an idea why the Previous button would be missing from all pages? I can click Next and it seems to navigate me forward, but there is not Previous button to go back a page. Checked lemmy.world just to verify it wasn’t my imagination and indeed the Previous button is still there....
I’ve been getting some spam comments (with Images I’d rather not see) and even after blocking the people I still see them in my inbox. I’d rather not....
I do not want to block all bots. I only want to block bots from specific instance. More specifically, the @alien.top instance is using most, if not all, bot accounts with random usernames. It uses that instance to post in communities of other instances. I thought about blocking other instances. But the main issue lies with...
I am quite annoyed by one person’s posts in one community I’m subscribed to. I could block them but then I might miss their comments or posts in other communities which might not be as annoying....
