Well. Apparently I'm the mod here now.

So the previous owner/moderator of the community just randomly added me as a moderator and then left. Not going to lie, I don’t think that’s okay. Just a note here but don’t do that. If I had been asked I would have gladly said yes but it would have been nice to be asked.

That all being said, welcome to the community that’s under new management. I will say that this community is open for news and discussion as well, and will likely change the sidebar to reflect that in the coming days. However that doesn’t mean I’m going to be suddenly posting less memes. Those will still be coming.

So in the future if you’ve got an issue with a post you can feel free to take it up with me. I will totally hear you out and I’m very willing to change my opinion or point of view if it makes sense.

Keep it happy, gay, and (most importantly) be kind to one another.

I try my best to keep a positive energy. Doesn’t mean I always succeed but I try to be fair and kind until given a reason not to. Even then I’m not someone who’s going to go overboard and start insulting everyone. Might think it but I’m trying to be a better person than I know I am.

Last week I saw a blind man with a cane walking down the footpath and I had the overwhelming desire to Slam the horn, hit the brakes and scream “LOOK OUT!” out the window to see what would happen.

I DIDNT.

But I laughed for like 3 blocks at my horrible thought, I dont know wether I should be proud of my personal growth or ashamed that I consider that growth.

That happened to me on the Other Site. I signed up to help with some cleanup and bookkeeping, owner picked a fight with an admin and got himself banned, left me running the place with no notice.

It sucks, but you can rise to the occasion. Or recruit somebody to succeed you. No shame in it either way, so long as the community stays healthy.
