NuShell: a very nice shell I found today. What do you think? ( www.nushell.sh )

Now we are facing an unprecedented growth of AI as a whole. Do you think is time for FSF elaborate a new version of GPL to incorporate the new challenges of AI in software development to keep protecting users freedom?

Let’s say, I create a bank with the caveat that all of my banking phone apps and webapps are FOSS (or if they depend on non-free components — banks probably do to communicate with each other —, then just OSS). Am I going to be behind the competition by doing this?...
Does anyone have any recommendations for good backup software? My use case is pretty simple. I have an external usb drive I want to backup to every so often. Both the source and backup drives are 8TB capacity (I’m not even close to using the full capacity yet)...
Hi all, I’m looking for some Discord alternatives. All I really need is the ability to do voice calls and screen shares. It can be either via DM or channels, I only need to it be able to speak with a few friends that’d be open to moving over. I’ve tried Matrix/Element but there doesn’t seem to be a screen share function....
Yes, there are a few good open-source office suites, but there are fewer that are server based, and actually collaboration based, like ONLYOFFICE DocSpace is (they also have a server version that installs from a Docker image)....
I have not seen this app mentioned here, but I find it really good. catima is foss discount and similar cards manager. Basically FOSS version of stocard....
I made a thing! If you know TiddlyWiki but haven’t managed to adopt it due to the whole storage/saving/syncing stuff this thing might be for you!
(I mostly need this link for work tomorrow, but I thought maybe some folks here would be interested)

I have been looking all day for a FOSS keyboard that’s under active development. It seems like more of not all of the ones I’ve seen recommended haven’t been updated in over a year some three years. I don’t mind if it’s a long time between updates but I want to know bugs will be fixed eventually.
Is there a FOSS alternative to gfycat for hosting short video clips? With gfycat shutting down, I’m looking for other options.
Also available via SSH:...
Seriously amazing for those old nerds like me who are use to IRC, irssi or Weechat. Give Gomuks a try. It’s what I expect of a modern client that doesn’t get in the way like a lot of the GUI’s. I like this versus irssi/weechat because it’s first party support for matrix not a WIP plugin....
Over the years, my photo library has been managed by numerous apps (Picasso, iPhoto, gthumb, etc) and stored in multiple cloud and local drives. As a result I have a number of duplicates that I’d like to eliminate for easier organization. Is there a FOSS app that would assist with this task?
Have you ever been scared or hesitant about reporting flaws or bugs to a community with a strong staunch fanbase ??...
My life is pretty disorganized with stuff at school, work, and extracurriculars. For a few months now I’ve been encouraged to get a planner instead of keeping it all in my head. Now don’t get me wrong, I love taking physical notes and doing homework on paper with my nice pens and such. However, I do need a planner that syncs...
I’d like a way of sharing playlists that I make, but I don’t want to use Spotify or YouTube. Is there something free (as in freedom and as in cost) and open-source, which is better than burning a CD or sending someone a playlist.txt?
No more open source....
Was curious if there were FOSS solutions since I really would like to avoid using anything Google related
