My mother fell for this scam 23 years ago, has paid nearly $10,000 in premiums in that time, and it has a cash value of less than $3000 today, which I cannot seem to access for her tho I have...

Moving to a daily format as weekly threads tend to be buried under new content.

I’m a very bad cook, so trying to find some inspiration

In my case, a few things, but probably being healthy, having a good quality of life in a safe country. Being able to spend time with my friends and family.

Last night was the first time in a month when I had a full night of sleep. Now I’ve been waking up at 8AM instead of going to bed at 2 PM. Don’t have a lot of people to share with but I’m not sure how to describe how I feel. It’s like the absence of a headache I didn’t know I had. My body feels much lighter and...

Don’t really know what I’m expecting here… I’m just venting I guess.

And by god was it absolutely terrible. New restaurant, clean on the inside, tried 3 different things and I have to wonder, does anyone actually like jack-in-the-box? How are they still in business?

A few times in the last two or three days I heard the term “unidentified aerial phenomena”, abbreviated as “UAP”, being used by the US government and media to refer to what mere mortals used to call “UFOs”, or, better yet, “maybe aliens”....

Maybe this is everyone’s experience as they get older, falling out of fashion and balking at the latest trends....

It’s now been a few times where an older adult (maybe 50+ years old) has called me “endearing”, i always associated this term with children, but i am fully grown adult. Is there something i’m doing wrong? Why are people using a term for children for adults?...

Just curious to see what my fellow lemmings are using. :)...
