Anticorp, in I'm with them

He’s not single, but he also doesn’t care and is available.

Zorque,

He and the detective are quite monogamous, thank you.

Stamets, in Too horny?
@Stamets@startrek.website avatar

Hey don’t look at me, I’m out here fucking mindflayers

Carlo,

I really thought there should have been a dialogue option along the lines of:

Uhh… could you maybe put your disguise back on? I’m really not into… tentacles.

And seriously, how insanely presumptuous is it of that mf to think that you would be, smh.

Hey don’t look at me, I’m out here fucking mindflayers

…Not that there’s anything wrong with that!

teft, in I'm with them
@teft@startrek.website avatar

They should have used Haarlep’s photo. Much more lascivious, same face.

Amro, in I'm with them
@Amro@kbin.social avatar

@Stamets Hence the term "handsome devil". It checks out.

Shayeta, in I'm with them

He is both single and taken.

Norgur,

You mean "technically Single" and "technically taken", right? Because fine print and all

Anything for his attention.

teft, in This game has some pretty sublime humor at times.

No is Withers favorite word. He refuses to elaborate, always.

Steamymoomilk, in That man is RELENTLESS

My mans has been outplayed

pyrflie, in Baldur's Gate 3 - Discussion Post #2

Can I get some love for my boy Raphael. Dude’s a literal Disney Villain. His fight in the house of Hope has been the highlight of 2.5 runs.

My first run I killed him in one round and had to reload to hear the conclusion of his song. Tell me that isn’t nailing a Performance check. He bought 1 minute of life with his voice.

Big_Boss_77,
@Big_Boss_77@kbin.social avatar

Here come the claws...

Thebazilly,

Aw man, I decided to save and quit about 5 minutes away from this boss fight and now I’m super excited to play some more.

Edit: This was a great boss fight. “Liiiives, all mortal liiives, expiiire”

Fafner,
@Fafner@yiffit.net avatar

10/10 game for that battle alone.

andybeta, in This game has some pretty sublime humor at times.

I’ve had more genuine laughs from this game (first playthrough, early act 3) than from any other. Just having Karlach in my party makes me smile every time I switch to her.

CADmonkey,

Hot Karl has such a fun personality, and her VA just makes her sound so happy to be free, but worried (a little) about what’s next. She’s always in my party.

VikingHippie, in Act 3 Spoilers - The Guardian's voice

his look doesn’t match that voice at all

Looks have nothing to do with what your vocal chords can do.

For example, this is the magnificent Geoff Castellucci, one of the best bass singers on YouTube, if not the world of rhythmic music.

His bottom note is a B0! That’s so low that you feel it more than hear it if your headset or speakers have decent bass reproduction and settings!

hh93,

For me one of the most impressive examples of how little a voice has to match someone is the singer from the German band Annenmaykantereit who looks like a thin and weak young guy but has that kind of roughness in his voice of a 60 year old guy that smoked all their life

Kolanaki, in This game has some pretty sublime humor at times.
@Kolanaki@yiffit.net avatar

I love the conversation he has with the Tiefling kid. Voice line duplication bug and all.

Eddyzh,

When is that (roughly)?

Kolanaki,

2nd act, IIRC? It would be available after the Emerald Grove situation is sorted. It’s just a background interaction that happens in your camp between these two.

Gutless2615, in Baldur’s Gate 3 is a masterpiece built on a bad tabletop game

The author really loved the sound of their own voice. I’m a dozen paragraphs in and there’s not an actual argument to back up the assertion that “it’s not fun” besides combat being “tedious”. I mean, look, I gave up 5e in favor of other systems after the OGL disaster and haven’t looked back, but this is a garbage tier article and I’m surprised it made it through Polygons editors, given how many of their writers and members have been espousing their joy for the game. Criticism is great, but “it’s not any good” just seems lazy and contrarian for contrarian sake.

Anticorp,

Combat is hella fun, and fucking it up has serious consequences. Perhaps this just isn’t the game for them.

Anticorp, in Can I make Astarion steal things for little consequence?

There’s no consequences if he doesn’t get caught. Separate him from the group, sneak around, steal, and then return to the group. The only drawback is that if he gets caught and ends up in a fight, it’s going to take you awhile to help him. He can just dash away though if you give him any movement boosts. But be forewarned. There are serious consequences to getting caught in some parts of the game, very serious consequences.

Anticorp, in Why are there points of no return?

You’re not locked out until act 3. Just use a fast travel waypoint.
