Hey ! I just broke my Pixel 4a (fp reader is dead, screen is flickering, battery health is getting really bad), and i am looking to try out Apple ecosystem. I have a budget of around 300 euros, and i have no problem looking at refurbished devices / secondhand. Here is a list i made (prices are from backmarket, a refurbished...
I’ve been jumping between password managers for a bit and I feel like sooner or later I’ll end up with iCloud Keychain, but currently I’m still sticking with something else because it only supports logins (website, username, password has to always be there)....
Been using “Whisk” for a while but they were bought by Samsung and have been slowly going down hill. Any good iOS apps for recipes? I hear good things about Paprika but not sure if it’s worth it…...
As title states, do you like recent changes in MacOS that make it visually more unified across the ecosystem or you prefer separate design languages for each OS?
It seems that USB-C iPhones are on the horizon. There’s a high chance that the rest of the accessories that still uses Lightning port will get updated with USB-C port. I do have have the MagSafe Battery Pack and Duo Travel Charger. Having them all in USB-C seems like a breeze as you don’t need to bring Lightning cable...
Just in case you wondered how many photos you really can have in your Apple Photos library, I can report that I have so far added 1 000 264 Photos and 10 242 Videos without any issues....
I have a 50GB plan that is almost used up. My wife has a Apple One plan 200GB that she shared with our family (including me), but my phone only syncs to my 50GB plan....
So, I have an iPhone, which I like, but we use Windows and Linux computers in our household. I’d never seen a Mac boot up until the other day after a friend gave me their old Mac Mini. I was excited to check it out, got it all set up and logged in – but it really just seemed like a giant iPhone regarding what it did and...
For the first time in my life, I’m in the market for a personal MBP. I had to get my ancient MBP for work replaced last week and they sent me one of the new 14" M2 Pro models and I absolutely love it. As I spent more time with it, I decided I think I want a piece of the new MBP line....
Basically the title. If it feels like the new method in iOS 17 of hitting the plus symbol, then scrolling up and then selecting photos in iMessage takes too long you can just long hold the plus symbol and it’ll short cut to pics....

I’m really looking into building a NAS for my Mac. I got the 256gb MacBook Air and currently back up the machine using a nvme drive over type c but having to plug it in to access video files and backup every couple days is not ideal. With how cheap physical storage is now, a NAS seems like a good solution. Does anyone have a...
So as the title says, I run a homelab with various technologies — Proxmox, Home Assistant, a reverse proxy, lots of Ubiquiti equipment, and so on. Over the years I’ve consumed countless hours of articles, stack overflow posts, youtube channels, and knowledge bases to keep myself up to speed on how to use this equipment and...
The emails look legit, came from [email protected], don’t even have a link in them to reset password, just a plaintext url to access appleid settings if I need to reset password....
I do not need to do photo editing or anything like that. I need to be able to make graphics for my business’ social media, and to display on my in store monitors. I get marketing graphics from different publishers whose products i sell, and i need to be able to add my business name and other info....
Is anyone here using Magic Trackpad for work? or rather for a longer periods of time? Not necessarily with a hand over it whole 8 hours, but around 50% of that time....
