Yeah, people don’t give a shit. By boycotting everything I’ve gotten people to install Signal (luckily phones have enough storage now that this is not hard) and that’s good enough for me, we can have group chats.

No magic for me, I told them immediately as they could understand. That shit is a gateway to religion. I’m seeing a lot of reports from users of Huawei and Honor devices have reported that their phones are incorrectly identifying Google apps as Trojan malware, specifically labeled as TrojanSMS-PA. According to the alert, this “malicious software” has the ability to send SMS messages without user consent.

I look into it, but can’t seem to buy anything not Motorola. They’re reasonably clean out of the box, have good batteries and survive getting wet even with no IP rating. Using Moto G52 currently.

I might be jaded, but I’d wager that whoever buys it, is going to be worse than having Epic as a rich daddy who is focused on and making money through his core business and doesn’t really know what to do with Bandcamp. Entities that buy it are almost certainly going to squeeze harder at the expense of user experience.

And there’s like 300 of them. With Steam, I had to buy my way into a Buridan’s donkey position where I don’t play anything because I have too much. My man Sweeney made me jaded for free.

What games can you recommend that didn't get the appreciation that they deserved?

I’ve been recently been thinking about Arkane Studio’s Prey which is a immersive sim, with a pretty good rogue like dlc, that probably has one of the strongest hooks of any game I’ve played. If you liked Halflife, System Shock, or Deus Ex it’s definitely worth a play....
