yeather,

A critical step in modernizing our armed forces is staying up to date with the emerging use of drones and UAVs.

yeather,

It’s supposed to drive anti Israeli sentiments. People that justified the actions by saying it’s against their enemies don’t have a leg to stand on now that they’re attacking christians.

yeather,

The Bullpup has fallen, billions must experience a better gun design with nicer ergonomics and trigger groups.

yeather,

White Anglo Saxon Protestant. That term is actually fairly narrow when you think of it. In truth there are no truly great catch all white slurs, only great slurs for groups of different whites.

yeather,

Cracker is a more general term i guess, while WASP is a specific sub group of white people. There really isn’t any good alternatives to cracker. The only good white slurs are to specific sub groups.

yeather,

Oh god its Austria all over again.

yeather,

More than likely the latter. The symbols are too clear and the hands are too good for this to be 100% ai.

Imperor, to rpgmemes

I'm re-reading The Hobbit at the moment. Gandalf might not be a conjurer of cheap tricks, because he's only packing the expensive, high-caliber stuff.

@rpgmemes
@imperor

yeather,

I thought the Hobbit was written by Bilbo as an account of his tales only to be translated at a later date by the narrator. Which explains why place names are in the original language but the rest of the book is in english.

yeather,

Cessnas are rugged enough, you could probably just bolt the AMRAAM attachment points to the wing and call it a day.

yeather,

It doesnt help that even carpet bombing the mountains would be extremely ineffective. Those tunnels run deep man, deeper than anyone thinks. Now we’re wasting a lot more on bombs only to have them escape anyways.

yeather,

It really did not help that the original M16s were terrible, plus cleaning kits were sparcely handed out with the myth that the rifle was self cleaning, AND they changed the ammo the gun was originally tested on to a cartridge that had worse performance.

yeather,

The Airmen Battle Uniforms were decent. Better than the Army ones at least. They used tiger stripes instead of the digital blocks so they at least blended in a bit more to the environment.

yeather,

It fell on Jimmy last week, poor kid.

yeather,

Usually local civies.

yeather,

It was locals in Korea and Germany, locals in the states too obviously. I’m not sure what they do in more dangerous areas.

yeather,

And lawsuits when people trip over uneven concrete caused by roots.

yeather,

Anon thought they were trans since they were a kid. Listened and liked music from a game called Tohou. They look into the game more only to realize it’s something only men like. Them they have an identity crisis because they arent mentally strong enough to realize they can like male things and be trans or they were never trans and are just autistic.

yeather,

The real answer here is say No and scare the party.

yeather,

No, they’re black,

  • Cant be looked in the eyes without starting a fight. (Staring them down makes them think you’re challenging them)
  • Steal blocks from players.
  • Make random noises that players can’t understand. (Mummble rap)
yeather,

Isnt Notch racist or something? I cant remember what the controversy was exactly. Either way he is scandinavian, had probably never seen a black perosn before the age of 13, and subscribes to stereotypes because of his lack of knowledge.

yeather,

Which side do you think will break it first?

yeather,

Op either doesn’t understand global politics or has such bad internet they sent the meme in 1967 when this was somewhat true. In truth it’s probably both.

yeather,

The issue is those that cannot make the switch to electric also aren’t in the best spot to pay thr carbon tax. It’s a catch 22 for the poor. Ending the carbon tax for now is a good thing since those that could switched to electric and those that couldn’t won’t be punished.

yeather,

How would ending the carbon tax end up with then having less money. A tax directly affecting them ending would give them more money to work into their budget. This is a simple cause and effect. The only people with less money is the government, which lets be honest the carbon tax on heating homes was never a large portion of their budget.

yeather,

At this point the gov needs to overhaul the tax code tbh.

Iceland’s first full-day women’s strike in 48 years aims to close pay gap (www.theguardian.com)

Organisers hope the women’s strike – whose confirmed participants include fishing industry workers, teachers, nurses and the PM, Katrín Jakobsdóttir – will bring society to a standstill to draw attention to the country’s ongoing gender pay gap and widespread gender-based and sexual violence.

yeather,

Not really. The easily quotable figure is 84% but in reality it doesn’t take into account important differences in profession, qualifications, type of employer, seniority, hours worked or many other things that go into deciding compensation. The only thing the gender pay gap really shows is that men hold more high paying jobs than women, or have worked in industries for longer and therefore have more compensation.

yeather,

Nah man there’s still third world countries for sure. Even second world is still relevant for now.

yeather,

First world countries are developed on an industrial level and a cultural level for personal liberties and democracy. The US, most of Europe, Japan, etc. are all first world countries. Second world are developed industrialy but not so democratically. China and Russia are good examples. Third world countries are those underdeveloped industrially and democratically. Most of Africa and countries in turmoil like Venezuela are good examples of third world countries.

yeather,

No study has ever gotten an adjusted pay gap correct. Its all propagandized crap meant to distract you from the bigger issue. In the free world woman have just as much opportunity for high paying jobs as men. Its personal choice that limits them in job choice or life choices.

yeather,

Something tells me this is a Detroit thing not a Jew thing.

yeather,

In Colorado, until a new law overides the ruling, google must reveal your search history when subpoenaed. This doesn’t affect surrounding states or federal law until their own judges make a ruling or politicians make a law.

yeather,

I’m glad the internet still has this side to it, makes me laugh lol.

yeather,

I’m glad the internet hasn’t fallen so far that I can’t laugh at a company getting trolled.

yeather,

Someone probably noticed the trees weren’t native to Ukraine, or that he doesn’t look at all war fighting capable.

yeather,

This is a great time to teach your kids Internet piracy and internet safety at the same time! Don’t click the pictures of the nice lady and you get to watch your show lol

yeather,

Check out Libby by overdrive. E-book convenience and supports your local library.

yeather,

But what weapons will we use when we need to invade Iraq again???

yeather,

Part time usually doesn’t receive any benefits. Contractors never receive benefits unless stated in the contract, severance is usually not included in said package but an early buyout might be.

yeather,

I’m all for background checks, even mandatory safety classes, it’s the random banning of features that gets me. Banning firearms because they have a pistol grip or more than 10 round magazines makes no sense. The problem is most people who think like this get lumped in with the crazies.

yeather,

The Second Amendment was never about hunting or home defense. It was about arming yourself against the government and to defend your other rights by force. In which case you should have every feature you can afford. Also, about muskets, the founding fathers understood the march of progress would eventually create bigger and more powerful smalls arms, they even wanted the en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kalthoff_repeater for their army to stay ahead. To think the second amendment only covers muskets is moronic.

yeather,

Sounds fun

yeather,

The second amendment wasn’t made for plinking, hunting, or home defense. It was made to allow the common citizen to defend their rights by force against the government. In which case you should have every feature you can afford available to you.

yeather,

At this point it’s been proven psych evals don’t really work, firearms classes and background checks should be plenty to stop people with issues and allow us I not have our rights infringed upon.

yeather,

Even if it didn’t have major issues it would still be a weird ad.

yeather,

lol “X, formerly known as Twitter”

yeather,

Let’s be real this won’t impact his presidency campaign at all.

yeather,

Ooh that other article did not do this justice
