webuge,

This is really a hardware limitation. If you are in a desktop you should add a graphics to it. But if it is a laptop unfortunately there is nothing you can do.

webuge,

Besides containers, you should look in Ansible too, you can automatize the creation of your infrastructure in other servers.

webuge,

I think it would be easier to use only one docker compose file with all services, and use the same network across all of them

webuge,

Do you have coddy to point the DNS to your keyckloak instance like in this part of the tutorial? auth.gurucomputing.com { reverse_proxy keycloak:8080}

Also do you have the domain registered?

webuge,

I didn’t read the docker files with attention in the first time, but since you have an external network it should work.

webuge,

In my opinion you would want to create a Dockerfile to generate a Docker Image with your script and the ENVs in it. Remember though this script will run inside the docker container and the host will not see any modification. Could you explain in more details what this script would do?

A tip for migrating from Google Photos to Synology

After exporting my photos for migration to Synology, Google gave me 95 2GB zip files to download. I tried downloading directly into my mapped network drive, but the speed was super slow. My tip for you is if you are familiar with docker, you can spin up a Firefox container and map your desired network drive to the container. If...

webuge,

It is a bit off topic but when I tried to generate the files from Google takeout it failed do you have any suggestions? Also this idea of downloading directly in the NAS is very good

webuge,

Yes I know. The problem is Google does not provide any more information just said it failed. This is a screenshot from the email https://lemmy.dbzer0.com/pictrs/image/b4bb68f4-6889-408f-ae31-51482d8a56c3.png

I tried again and failed, I think I will need to migrate it manually :(

webuge,

I used the default split size of 2GB and now worked. I was trying to use 50GB but I think Google didn’t liked it so much

webuge,

I would add real-debrid too it speeds the load time. Regarding the subtitles I think you configure it when installing torrentio. For Android TV I have a Firestick tv 4k and Firestick 4k max, both runs streamio+real-debrid+Torrentio very well. For the French content you can configure it to be priority when installing torrentio

webuge,

You can pay for Real-debrid instead of a VPN. In this case you will send the torrent to Real-debrid then download the torrent content from real-debrid. Also you can integrate real-debrid with Streamio + Torrentio which is a great way for streaming content.

webuge,

This is good. I will take a look. Thank you.

webuge,

Replaceable battery and water proof is possible. Se this video of Louis Rossmann about this youtu.be/7k4AV7N5g3U

webuge,

I am planning to do something like what you want. I found this video which covers the hardware part of things. Regarding software I am a little lost too. youtu.be/vjDoQA4C22c

webuge,

Well this seems to be a good problem to have hahah. If you need to get rid of some of those ssds count with me.

webuge,

Good to know I will take a look thank you.

webuge,

Besides the download torrent capabilities. It can download from some hosters (like 1ficher, and mega) as it was premium. So you pay for the real-debrid subscription which is low and has premium in a lot of those hosters. It is awesome and I strongly recommend.

webuge,

I use this real-debrid.com register for an account and pay the subscription. Then you can generate an API Key that you can use in Torrentio. Through the web interface you can paste links manually to download.

webuge,

A princípio qualquer tv com Android daria, mas eu acho que o melhor é comprar um firestick 4k e instalar o Streamio no Firestick. E aí você pode comprar qualquer tv.

scribd download

does anyone know what version of the scribd app stored downloaded files in an accessable format on android? i’ve seen references to people managing to get the files from older versions, but i don’t know how far to go to be able to get that. please don’t suggest online scribd downloaders, 99% don’t work and the one that...

webuge,

I think real-debrid can download from scribd, it has a limit of 5 downloads per day. But I never tried it.

webuge,

Have you seen those nas Intel n5105 mini itx motherboards at AliExpress? They have 6 sata ports, 2 nvme slots, 4 x 2.5 gigabit Ethernet. Looks very good for your use case.

webuge,

I have setup Streamio + Torrentio+ Real-debrid in my father’s computer. He can uses it really easy and I don’t need to worry about hosting anything. If you want to it work on the TV you would need a Chromecast or Fire stick tv.

webuge,

Can you provide the link for the LTT video, please?

webuge,

Thank you

webuge,

Yes, I was looking for a more affordable one. But thank you.

webuge,

Ok, thank you
