I fear Mozilla will oppose it right up until they implement it, they know who butters their bread and their CEO has a hunger for loafs.

It is based on them being wholly funded by Google, I think it is helpful to point that out when we are talking about them biting the hand that feeds them. If Google does in fact force this upon you to use their services then Google search will be part of that and Google search is where Mozilla makes a vast majority of its funding.

If Google is pushing a feature to secure higher ad revenue they’re obviously going to implement it on their own services such as search. As for Bing Microsoft have implemented Manifest v3 in Edge and it’s unlikely they will skip out on Web Integrity. Time will tell but it’s likely Firefox will be pushed into supporting it.

I’m suggesting people aren’t going to be given the choice if this is actually pushed through to the full extent that Google is hoping. Fighting against it is obviously the right move but it doesn’t hurt to imagine a future where that fighting has no meaningful effect.

Not for you but for services like discord that by last record back in 2017 resized 150,000,000 images per day (and who knows how many millions or even billions of images they serve every day not just resize) these small savings are huge.

I’ve missed the TV shows and a bunch of the movies after endgame, at a certain point I was too far behind and couldn’t be bothered going through them all to get all the interconnected lore so just stopped watching all new content, it’s just too much effort to even try to care about it at this point.

The basic lore is that the r/worldnews subreddit was unmoderated which allowed for low quality content to be spammed, the users of the subreddit decided to protest the lack of moderation by turning the subreddit into nsfw anime spam (and later 3d) completely unrelated to news. As a response the r/anime_titties subreddit was created as the new source of actual world news, which is what the bot linked in your post seems to be mirroring. You can check the subreddit on reddit itself it’s completely safe for work.

Also an ex-contributor; if you want to keep your respect for Wikipedia as a great source of well cited facts then do not look into the qualifications for being a cited source, once you dive into the citations of an article and see important facts having their citation be a random blog post on blogspot from 2003 it starts to feel a little like the Great and Powerful Oz.
