s1vgm,

I prefer to opt out of using this feature for a simple reason: I already hate when people call my phone, so why would I want X users to call me? Also, X doesn’t have a good record of creating a safe, trustworthy space. No way would I ever trust Elon Musk enough to carry out calls over his infrastructure.

I sincerely recommend that people opt for safer alternatives, such as WireMin and Element. Calls on these platforms are end-to-end encrypted, and since they are decentralized, there are no central servers to save or analyze our calls. It’s important to ensure that our calls are not being monitored for ad targeting based on our conversations.

If decentralized platforms seem too much for you, at least use Signal, which also offers end-to-end encryption for calls.

s1vgm,

As the news says, “Based on your consent”

s1vgm,

Big no

s1vgm,

Since when did Twitter become a platform for sending death sentences? Isn’t there a better alternative?

s1vgm,

Social connection. It would be nice if I could be confident and good at making friends with strangers. I have no idea why I feel so lonely when in the crowd and even more lonely when I’m alone.

s1vgm,

I went to the gym every day in the last 7 days.

s1vgm,

I don’t want to do everything with this app or any app. An everything app means monopoly and manipulation.

s1vgm,

He is such a fuckin loser.

s1vgm,

I took a screenshot from the animation. If you want to see the complete version of this stupid animation: twitter.com/elonmusk/status/1694256985233846492?s…

s1vgm,

Lmao

s1vgm,

I miss the good old days on YouTube.

s1vgm,

I’ve been trying to stick to Mastodon and ditch Twitter, but honestly, even though I’ve gotten into the habit of using Mastodon every day, it’s pretty hard for me to resist accepting information from Twitter.

s1vgm,

It’s all about what matters most to you.

s1vgm,

“removed by moderator for violating Reddit’s content policy” I’ve been using Reddit for years, but recently it’s kinda annoying…

s1vgm,

It’s just the first step before TwitterX turns into an “everything” app.

s1vgm,

It’s not open source, indeed. But I noticed that the users on WireMin are all very concerned about protecting their privacy. For example there’s one community created by one anonymous user: The Gray Papers- Take back your data. i.wiremin.com/invite/?g=k48934787653
