As a disabled person, I face ableism and ableist language every day. Some people use ableist language without even knowing that it is ableist. I thought it would be good for folks to take a look at the attached BBC article and expand their perspectives a bit.
He has to be vague because of security reasons because for some reason the US population aren't entitled to information like that even though we should be.
A lot of the proof is classified so he's only able to tell it to members of Congress with the proper security clearance. That's just the shitty way the US government is run, we're not allowed to know anything.
You're not gonna be downloading the entirety of threads when you interact with them. I don't see how interacting with threads would fill up your storage any faster than interacting with another instance.
I find it mildly infuriating that some coworkers think entering a break room gives them license to play loud music over speakers, use obscene language (especially to and about other coworkers), and disrupt the fifteen minutes of peace and quiet some of us crave in the workplace....
Its just like, what other word should we use than cisgender? We can say people whose gender matches their one assigned at birth I guess but that gets annoying. In certain contexts the cisgender label just makes discussion easier.
