Nothing sticks in my mind anymore. I tried to reinstall CP2077 and do a replay, but ultimately each time i exit it gets harder to start up and resume. I struggle to bother remembering which part of the story im am at. 20 years ago i would get “tetris effect” from pretty much any game I play; daydreaming about an RPG im playing, see tetris blocks falling into place, etc. Nowadays I don’t even get that with literal Tetris Effect.

It may be work life, stress etc. But part of myself just feels gaming is missing that old multiplayer feel where a whole bunch of us are in the Computer Science Lab, installing Doom 3 on the lab machines and playing til they kick us out at midnight. I’m also missing that feel of a whole bunch of us huddled in a McDonalds playing Mario Kart DS multiplayer, screaming so loud when someone triggers a lighting bolt, that the store manager essentially banned us from playing there ever again.

As for games like 2077, the sad realization is that the denouement leaves the me kinda confused more than anything. so many games I finish now leave me checking online to ask “What was that?”

I feel old now.

Lol. I have hundreds of hours on OW (NOT OW2) and Diablo III (not IV), and i can safely say I forgo ever playing those 2 games again because of the toxic entity that is Acti-Blizz. Not that I have much choice considering OW cannot even be played as its own game now.

I left when I read that Blizzard staff got the axe while Kotick got himself a sweet sweet money enema of a bonus.

When Michael Chu left in 2020 i started playing more Monster Hunter and Genshin. When Jeff Kaplan left I finally uninstalled Battle.net.

Now unless you dedicate a full time job amount of hours, you’ll be lucky to get 4 unlocks a seasons

hah. i stopped using Google search for about 2 years now. DuckDuckGo still shows Newpipe in search results btw. Nevertheless this sucks because only so many people use DuckDuckGo (There’s DOZENS of us!)

Got an OP6 back in 2019 and definitely has that new phone energy. Sadly I suffer from LinusDropItis and so my phone has developed a cracked corner that is now essentially a crack in the corner of my heart. Thinking about 11, but would rather stick with OP6 until the battery or screen goes. This warrior has lasted me longer than my last 3 phones combined. Carl Pei was 1/2 of the Oneplus founder's team together with Pete Lau. He left Oneplus/OPPO in 2020 and announced Nothing Phone in 2021. I just had my hands on a Nothing (1) a couple days back, and I really wanna like it, but the lights just seem too strange for me.
