Ok, as someone who’s been attempting to switch to Linux for 20 years and finally did it. (I went from every PC in the house having Windows to all them on Linux.) You’ll have to know a few things, but nothing super major that you can’t easily google. Especially if you are on one of the more popular “it just works” ditros. Microsoft games work fine on Linux. I’m pretty sure WoW works, but I quit that game years ago so cannot confirm.
Use protondb.com for steam games and any others you can google. (For example I just looked up that WoW works on Lutris.)

Ok, so what I would really like to do is sync the podcasts I have on my PC to my Android phone, BUT I’d also like to sync what episode and how far I am into the episode I am. Is this even possible?
Well the reason I ask that, probably annoyingly, is because I listen to them on Rhythmbox when I’m at home. So I was hoping there would be an easy way to just sync it all up to my phone, but I’m guessing there’s not really a way after looking through the suggestions here and searching google for solutions. I’ll give the suggestions made here a go and if I can’t get it to work properly, I can always just move the files over and remember what episode I am on. (This podcast is 200+ episodes and 20GBs in size.)
Netflix used to do this shit back in the day. It would do an OS check and if you weren’t running Windows/Mac, then it would give an error that playback was disabled.
EDIT: Wait, no, I’m wrong. It was microsoft silverlight. There was no version for Linux and if you called their support they’d just say sorry, can’t help ya.
Someone explained it earlier that there is a play store version as well and it’s comparing it to that and if you’ve installed it from anywhere else, the ‘key’ may not match up with the play store version. So Play Protect is actually working properly here.

There’s a massive amount of suffering from those in poverty in Southern States because of the rugged individualism in the culture and the utter lack of empathy towards those they do not know. As long as they get theirs, that’s all they care about. In the Southern Culture, the mentality is not “we’re in this together”, it’s “not my problem if it doesn’t affect me”.
Again, this shit is everywhere. Come stay with me in Detroit for awhile and see if you think so harshly about the south compared to other places.

No, because Christians typically shun all other religions. So anytime they encounter another they are more likely to not learn about it because of their religion saying there is no other religion that is right besides theirs. Another thing that isn’t a south only trait. Southern Baptists are probably the worst with this kind of thing. I’ve got stories.

Everywhere has its rough areas. I’ve actually been to Detroit several times and have considered moving there. Every city will have that “tough” part of town, but there is a stark difference between rural Michigan and the rural south. I have driven through both on many occasions.
I disagree on this. Also, I wasn’t talking about “tough” parts of town. There’s just as much racism and ignorance here as there is in the south. Michiganders are just as fucking hard headed and stubborn as the idiots from Alabama/Florida/The Carolinas.
The ironic part about that is that mindset is completely anti-Christian. Jesus Christ taught tolerance. Something the average southern Christian, like the baptists you speak of, are not.

This has also fueled the political climate in the minds of the people as well. People that live in rural areas thrive on drama, rumors, and other innane bullshit to get through their day. So when TV/pastor man says that they’re coming to change your life, they fear the unknown and uncertainty. A lot of these people would be fine if they were shown more of other cultures and ways of thinking. (Slowly. Not all at once.) Instead they get forcefed this crap and just end up living life in fear of other ways of thinking/culture.

What states? You say you’ve seen a lot of the southern culture but all you mention is yee-haw type shit. There’s a lot more culture down there than just that.
Southern culture is also a very cruel and hateful one. (I know! That seems ridiculous to think! But is it when compared to the rest of American Values?)
Forgot to mention on this one. One of the general cultural things I’ve experienced in most parts of the south is the expectation of thick skin. Banter and bullshit down there is much more hurtful and in your face than I’ve experienced anywhere else. Most people can’t handle it.

If you already have everything on, or just want the newest lists no matter what, use the ‘Purge All Caches’ button. It resets all the lists so it force downloads fresh copies off all of them.
What are you guys on about? I can view anything from reddit just fine with no account. On the 18+ prompt there should just be a regular age check disguised as a login prompt. You can still click through it to view it.
Edit: Which, after checking it because I thought I was dumb. I can view any 18+ content on reddit just fine and the prompt can even be blocked with ublock.

I’ll never be a fan of sub bundles that it’s obvious that it’s all about maximum profit for the company. Why is the only bundle PS and LR? (Besides the 3d modeling crap.)
