cmat273,

Others may say yes, but I say no. Fuck em. I wouldn’t wish harm on anyone but I do laugh when bad shit happens to bad people.

cmat273,

Currently on two 4tb drives and I’m constantly running out of space

cmat273,

I have yet to see this running ublock origin on firefox

In this case the community. 196 is just a community where you have to post something before you leave with no rules (written anyway; you can’t just say whatever fucked up thing you want) beyond that.

cmat273,

No. This would be a mess security-wise.

cmat273,

Anything from Nintendo is fair game IMO.

cmat273,

I haven’t been into this stuff for very long. Is there a particular reason for this?

cmat273,

Did you primarily doomscroll when you were on twitter? If so that’s probably why it seems dead to you.

cmat273,

There is a world where reddit mods could have coordinated and convinced their communities to follow them to Lemmy.

cmat273,

Sonarr+Radarr+qBittorrent+Jellyfin=I’M GETTING LAID

cmat273,

It would be hilarious if a random got that domain and threw a mastodon instance on it. They’ll probably keep it though lol

cmat273,

Hi! Trans person here. Your heart is in the right place, but this post is poorly written. You haven’t even given examples of how this is currently/could be applied. Some people are just that uneducated about trans people. If they’re leading questions that invalidate us, sure. But otherwise what’s the harm? For 196 there’s no reason to ask about that stuff but the whole instance?? Your call in the end but I can think of a few ways this could go bad just from prior experience in other communities.

Honestly? You don’t. I was gonna try to be a sysadmin but I’m a product support engineer now. The point being shit doesn’t always work out the way you plan. Find something you are interested in, or think about what you truly enjoy doing. For me, it is quite simply the act of helping someone get something done, and fixing various software problems. No matter what job I have, if I can do one or both of those things and make a living I think I’ll be happy with it. Hope this helps.

cmat273,

I think you mean claim. Strikes are on the channel and are much worse for the creator.

cmat273,

Komikku (linux) is great on desktop fwiw, though I know that won’t be useful for everyone. It’s on flathub.

cmat273,

We always knew this would happen though.

Mastodon feels empty because most people probably aren’t using it as intended (following people you want in your timeline, following/using hashtags, etc). Also, it is empty compared to the popular platforms - they only have like 2M users which is a lot but not compared to Twitter or Threads.

cmat273,

qBittorrent through the webui mostly. I have it installed on my NAS along with Jellyfin, Radarr, Sonarr, etc.

cmat273,

Yes. It is very important otherwise people might get very uncomfortable being around you. That creates barriers when making friends, getting jobs, etc. One other thing - deoderant is not the same as antiperspirant and vice versa. Use both.
