Same here. The Personal Capital tools are amazing. I really hope Empower doesn’t mess it up because I’ve put a ton of work into getting everything the way I want it.
Screensharing has improved a lot over the last couple of years. Pipewire and XDG Desktop Portal are the tools you want to look into. You can run an in-browser test of screen sharing at mozilla.github.io/webrtc-landing/gum_test.html
It really depends. I did long distance for years during college and we got a place together after college and have been happily together for a very long time now.
Same here. I used the paid version sync for reddit for years and got my money’s worth out of it. When the incident happened I switched to infinity and, while annoyed, I definitely felt I got my worth out of it. When ljdawson released sync for lemmy and added the ad-free upgrade I happily purchased it and I have been very satisfied with the app and all the improvements he is continually making. This is all coming from a hardcore open source 20+ years of Linux on the desktop guy.
