archon,

Seconded, I play on PC with a PS4 controller. Had to edit the keybinds file a bit, but very satisfied.

archon,

Some kinda fireworks celebration as far as I remember in, I want to say Latin America?

What's the difference between package manager and why are there so many?

Are they so different that it’s justified to have so many different distributions? So far I guess that different package manager are the reason that divides the linux community. One may be on KDE and one on GNOME but they can use each other’s packages but usually you are bound to one manager

archon,

I’m a fan of 13x28 days, 1 day in between.

…is gnome meant to be read as ‘genome’? Never realised that was a possibility as a non-native English speaker. Always based it off the garden variety Gnome with a silent G.

This is like sequel or ess-que-ell all over!

archon,

You can make an observation that something is dangerous without intimate knowledge of its internal mechanisms.

archon,

I’m sure I can name many examples of things I observed as dangerous, and the observation being correct. But sure, claim unilateral ignorance and dismiss anyone who don’t agree with your view.

Dune: Spice Wars review: a compulsive 4X that both nails and wastes its source material (www.rockpapershotgun.com)

This realtime 4X makes great use of Dune’s furniture in crafting a compulsive, busy, and well-made strategy game, and its new campaign is a great addition. But the soul of Dune remains elusive, leaving its desert planet feeling barren in the wrong ways....

archon,

I bought and played it a bit some months ago. It’s an interesting RTS/4X blend with the “realtime with pause”. For me the game wins in originality, with some novel systems I didn’t see before.

Not super memorable, but a nice change of pace if you want a middle ground between Civ and C&C. Buy on sale (was not so pricy either iirc).

archon,

Luckily, he’s not the one making them!

archon,

Sure but the glitches of old are more like Missingno in Pokemon, no? As opposed to the “oops, this questline doesn’t trigger, hotfix incoming” kind.

archon,

Aah, I must have been to young to spot those then lol. All I could remember off the top of my head is driver issues (specially audio, ugh) and reinstalling Windows because install corrupted the system and such.

“If you are not rich because you were lucky, you are rich because you took it.”

Gotcha. So, what does social democracy have to do with it again?

“idealology”

Hmm. 🤔
