I have had a tendency since my earliest days on social media where I will get halfway or more through a response, and end up just cancelling it. Sometimes I feel like I’m just being to over the top with snark or otherwise don’t want to be that kind of person, but a lot of the time I’ll decide I just really don’t care...
I even do this in real life. I do this thing where I say my whole next phrase between my teeth and only then I say it out loud and almost 50% of the time I don’t repeat it out loud.

I’m on year two and winter is approaching (fall 25). I didn’t really like last winter because it felt very long. What do you do during those times? Do you skip some days by going to bed right after waking up? Do you fish and mine like hell?

Money is a human concept and “expendable” (to some limit of course inflation) Energy is not. If this consume less energy than just venting it out then I think it is a great idea

If the AI is thaught to have good communication skills then even if the kid would benefit from it, the kid would end up expecting good communication from others and that would make him feel like everyone around him sucks ass in comparison to his AI friend
The monetisation of user data is really enshittifying products. At this point I wouldn’t be against if a company would find it a “feature” to not require you to login/make an account and share data.
The enshittification continues, not that I cared about Twitter before it was X, but the fact that such a massive social media with all this weight is going down only because of the actions of a moron who has enough money to buy it leaves a path for a sad future.
Not even talking about the switch portability but I think there must be people out there who only have a Nintendo switch to play game and if they wanted to play mk (and not buy a PS5/Xbox) then there was only one option left… Sad thing is that they didn’t even release it to the PS4/Xone gens console.
