Python an sich ist nicht das Problem. Es geht um die Pakete. Eine typische Conda Installation für datascience Zwecke hat gut und gerne mal 10GB (min 3GB) dank scikit-learn und Konsorten

That is literally the most foolish statement I have ever read. This attitude will literally make them go bankrupt. The only reason Arianespace still exists is because it’s massively subsidized by the EU, it’s basically a jobs program. What they’re doing is nowhere near competitive with reusable rockets

Als Bayer, haltet einfach die Klappe. Die Entscheidung wurde schon vor Jahren getroffen mit dem mutwilligen Ignorieren der Energiewende (z.B. 10H). Und jetzt rumjammern, wenn die Konsequenzen deutlich werden. Ehrlicher wäre es, tatsächlich mal Initiativen vorzulegen, die das Ungleichgewicht aufarbeiten

As a European, Europe is just not a spacefaring continent, let’s be honest. We contribute a lot to science, but without US and Russia we’d barely get to space. At least the way it’s currently organized and funded. The launch cadence of Ariane rockets vs Soyuz, Falcon is just not comparable
