Thank you for bringing this to my attention. It’s been a year for me and I just went through all the posts and now I feel so good. Also subscribed obv:)
This is very likely. If anything, the existing system will be perpetuated because there’s no replacement atm. It’s been too long in the making and it will take a lot of work to undo. Also, he may be long dead and it won’t change anything in the near future.
This said there’s always a chance for a change, but not right now.
Definitely but that’s unrelated to Putin and his direct actions. The OP’s question also doesn’t mention anything about West right Putin wrong, they are just asking what’s going to happen if Putin is no more.
The question is purely speculative. Try swapping Putin for any western leader and then answer the actual question if it helps.
I can speculate easily what will happen if Biden is assassinated because the probability of anything is not zero. The VP will take his place and so on.
I found plantable paper stars/snowflakes that can be used as gift tags or tree ornaments. The paper contains wildflower seeds so you can plant this paper star into the ground in spring and it will sprout flowers.
It’s known that sneezing is a reflex to prevent dust or nose hairs or whatever from getting down into the lungs, but why do people and animals sometimes get hiccups? What function does that serve, and what causes them?...
There was an explanation for it in The Inner Fish book. I’m fuzzy about the details, it’s been a while since I read this but essentially it is to prevent drowning when critters switch from gills to lungs like tadpoles.

I went to the local bakery/restaurant today and bought 2 cookies at the counter. I paid with a credit card and when it asked if I wanted to tip, I said no. Am I going to hell because of this?
Leaving tip at the counter or for take out food is just incomprehensible to me. It’s like tipping a grocery store clerk at check out when you are paying for your groceries. I bought this food already, what am I leaving a tip for?
For generations, the Navy SEALs have attracted top athletes who compete for slots on elite teams and take on harrowing missions, but never in all those years did the Navy regularly test the force for illicit steroids and other drugs that could boost performance. Now that is about to change....
There’s an easy(ish) way to clean one. Put about 1-1.5 cups of water into a microwave safe bowl or glass (I use Pyrex measuring cup) and microwave it for about 10+ minutes. Let the water boil really good and the hot steam will soften all the crap on the inside of the microwave. Get the cup out carefully, wipe the inside with a wet cloth, maybe spray some cleaner if oily and you’re done.
Some people want to be able to watch a movie “for the first time” all over again. Others want to forget a rubbish one. If you could remove just one movie from your memory, which would it be?
I remember how I read this book. I just bought it and it was sitting on my dresser waiting for me to read it. I wanted to be done with my chores first so I was cleaning around the house wiping dust away with a wet rug. When I got to the dresser I decided to have a quick look at the first page just to get an idea of what the book was like. I ended up standing by the dresser for two and a half hours, wet rug in my hand, consumed by the book. I couldn’t step away even for a moment until I turned the last page.
I’ve definitely turned into the paranoid nutcase within my friend group in recent years, I hate that everything is “smart” nowadays requiring an app/internet connection & account, just to do basic things that didn’t require any of that before....
On that note I am noticing with growing concern the big push to transition to and rely on technology that is nowhere close to the level of reliability that is being presented. I am not a Luddite in any way but pushing apps everywhere with little regard for functionality and privacy, as well as endless “do you have an app for this?” questions are unnerving. Same with AI.

Insurers say prior authorization helps control costs by preventing medically unnecessary care, but patients say the process can delay or deny access to needed treatments.
I’m sure there’s plenty of examples but I’m going to share one from my work experience.
We had a patient who survived a really bad car accident but their jaw was broken in 4 (four) places. One of those cases when the doctor will wire your mouth shut leaving a small hole for the straw so you can drink your soup for the next x weeks.
The patient had a facial reconstructive surgery coming and their surgeon ordered an MRI of their jaw to see where the pieces were before cutting them open. The patient, unfortunately, had one of those cheapo insurance plans that were provided by their employer. Said insurance denied the MRI authorization 3 (three!) times due to “lack of medical necessity”. It took us literal hours of arguing with that arsehole adjustor and their supervisors on the phone until they finally approved it.
