is it a formatting step that an image goes through when uploaded? I’m tired of converting image after image back into jpg, so if there’s like a step I can take to avoid it being a webp, it would help to know
If it tells you it doesn’t accept webp and you change it to jpg and it works, I guess it’s doing something, lol. I’m sure it doesn’t change the file type, it’s a loophole.
Any interaction I’ve had with them. I’ve used the pro, the “free”, their paid for templates, etc., they were horrible. I won’t use them so it’s been awhile, maybe they’ve gotten better? The way things go though, I bet they haven’t.

The OP was saying some really shitty things about people and wishing for the deaths and how they’re not human and shit. I agree with them taking it down.
I’m not going to repeat what OP said, but they were definitely saying really shitty things. They weren’t repeating what others have said, they were saying it themselves. I’m 100% positive of it and I didn’t read it wrong. I double checked because what they were claiming was true seemed reasonable to check out, but then they came back in the comments saying that they should die, etc.
“In total the researchers confirmed eight devices with backdoors installed—seven TV boxes, the T95, T95Z, T95MAX, X88, Q9, X12PLUS, and MXQ Pro 5G, and a tablet J5-W. (Some of these have also been identified by other security researchers looking into the issue in recent months).”...
I agree with you that it’s misleading, but the app was in the playstore and I think that’s what they’re referring to. Google says they weren’t certified which means they weren’t tested and they were removed. I agree that it’s still clickbait though.
Fear doesn’t work, we’ve known this for decades. If we know what positive steps are being taken, then we can support those or perhaps build on them if you’re able....
This is asking for brainstorming on action steps so people aren’t left in a freeze state, but know what they can do. It sounds like you already are doing your part.
I’m going to politely disagree. We should be afraid, but not the helpless feeling you describe, but an actionable, productive fear.
I totally agree that we should move forward and have that fight response. The thing I’m bringing up is, that a lot of us have a freeze response instead of the fight response you’re talking about. I think that’s what a lot of people in my area have too, I live in Seattle. I’m not speaking for all freeze responders but I need concrete action steps to follow to get me out of it. I was testing out AI a month or so ago, and every question I asked had action steps as a response. I asked the AI why they did that, if they were programmed to do that. AI said that it was mostly what their training material did.
You’re saying get angry and loud, but at who? My state already is doing a pretty great job at the governor level. I guess what I’m asking for isn’t how bad we’re doing things, it’s obviously pretty bad. But what are we doing that’s working and how can everyone build on that? If it works, I don’t care if big oil makes money off of it but you’re making a good case that it doesn’t and it’s a facade for them to get more money. Who can we support then, and how? Who’s doing it right?
I haven’t heard of any of this, thank you. Do you know if they are or have tried this recently?
We know of these huge instances of land abandonment and post-agricultural succession throughout history, like following the collapse of major cities from ancient Mesopotamia to the Mayans. And when the Europeans arrived in the Americas in the 15th century, so many people died and so much forest grew back on abandoned farmland that it helped cool the entire planet and was potentially a driver of the coldest part of the so-called “Little Ice Age” period.
More than 115 billion tons of carbon have been lost from soils due to agricultural practices that disturb soil integrity — such as tilling, monoculture farming, removing crop residue, excessive use of fertilizers and pesticides, and over-grazing. To put this into perspective, the amount of carbon lost is equivalent to the total CO2 emissions ever produced in the United States.
The challenge, of course, lies in balancing cropland restoration for climate mitigation with food security for a growing global population. Abandoned croplands represent an opportunity for carbon sequestration without impacting active agricultural lands. However, the available area of abandoned croplands is insufficient to make a substantial impact on climate mitigation on its own.
On the stopping of subsidizing all agriculture, wouldn’t that just be for the huge corporations that have all of the land? I think helping out the small, personal or semi and fully organic farms would be okay. It sounds like from another poster that the farms are a major issue so we need to encourage good behavior and stop the bad.
Are you in the US? Do you know if we have citizen watch groups for the military regarding their output or do they give out the information openly? An environmental arm of the military would be interesting.
I like this dude from your second link. Can the crushed rock be from locally recycled basalt or maybe there is no such thing?
“Greenhouse gas removal may well become necessary as we approach 2050, but we should not forget that it also raises profound ethical questions regarding our relationship with the natural environment. Its development should therefore be accompanied by the widest possible public debate as to potential risks and benefits.”
I understand your fear, but that is helping no one, especially you. From what I read from your comment is that you think it’s the corporations and government. Maybe there is a way for us to crowdsource that info so we can vote with our dollars. It would show what the companies own and alternatives to every product. Fight for corporations to be broken up. Don’t use the biggest environment abusers. The attitude of freeze fear is not going to get us out of this mess and giving up is helping the corporations to keep abusing us, the victims and common people.
I was trying to figure out what was going on and decided to look into it since there was a lot of double-speak. I came across this:
The first of the implicated employees, Assassin’s Creed creative director Ashraf Ismali, was accused of engaging in extramarital affairs with unwilling employees and fans
I wondered if there were loopholes, thanks for explaining that. I think the fans of movies and shows have to demand that they don’t use AI, it’s the only way. There was a time when I was young that they were complaining about inserting stars into ads and everyone complained and copyright stepped up as well. I hope that same thing happens here.
In Seattle, it’s pretty obvious if they’re going to ask for a tip so you can plan for it. They’re actually outgoing and nice to you, lol. I know that trick!
Brody got Mark Bankston too, that dude will tear them up.
But others dismissed the reality of far-right violence by falsely claiming members of the neo-Nazi group were actually federal agents. That included Musk, who amplified the false conspiracy that Brody was the man in the mask, then later suggested Brody was part of a “false flag situation,” in a post on X ― previously called Twitter ― that remains up today.
You can get that with Tildes but that gets kind of boring too. I liked Reddit because it was nice mix of both and then it went really toxic from both the users and the admins. I like it here because I’m not addicted and it has a lot of good content.

I think we’re all open to ideas on how we can help, please share if you have any.
I’ve heard police needing they’re own insurance and a database of the shitty ones, but I haven’t heard anything else. Throwing around that it’s the taxpayer’s fault is ridiculous. The police did this.
Good point. but I cover the cameras I know about most of the time. Mics, there isn’t much you can do about that. They’re pretty sensitive and can pick up very slight sounds.
