I think this is a sound way of doing it. Rather than trying to force people to switch and potentially alienating them from using an app like signal and moving away from their usual apps. The people who really want to continue chatting with you will come along for the ride.
Unless you need to burn through virtual cards like nobody’s business this would be more than enough, all your bank would see is you sending money to revolut so all those data points on what you spend money on in the banking apps won’t work anymore.
Go to ipleak.net and activate the torrent check, paste the magnet link into your torrent app while on VPN and it will tell you what IP address it detects, if it’s not the same as your regular ISP then you can verify that it’s using your VPN and not your standard internet connection.
I just acquired a new PC, and it hasn’t been turned on yet. I would love some advice and tips on what to do before I get started with it to protect my privacy....
If it were up to me, the first boot I would make sure theres no internet access either via Ethernet or wifi that ensures the computer cannot phone home to its mothership. From there either reinstall windows fresh or straight to Linux if you want to avoid spyware.
Just wondering what tools and techniques people are using to keep on top of updates, particularly security-related updates, for their self-hosting fleet....
I use some batch scripts in my proxmox installation. They are in cron.hourly and daily checking for virus and ram/CPU load of my LXC containers. An email is send on condition....
I use zabbix to monitor everything, agent on each device uses around 30 mb of memory and with the Linux templates it can monitor just about everything on the server.
The app works well for the most part, but every now and then, when I tap to get into a comment section, it will go to the comments of an entirely different post. Backing out and trying a second time has worked every time so far. I’m running the app from my Pixel 6 pro if that matters.
Hey maties, just a hypothetical question I thought I would pose. Has anyone tried installing Fitgirl (or any repack I guess) on Linux using Wine or any of the similar compatibility programs? I have a couple repacks I would like to run on my Linux (Fedora 32) laptop and wondered if such a thing was even possible.
You can but sometimes you may run into an error where unarc.dll can’t run and the programs don’t install. I usually use Linuxrulez as those programs are made to work within Linux.
A fellow mod informed me that about it as I was laying in bed. Reddit sent a message to the mod team and after 1 hour demoded me. I didn't even had time to see it, never-mind respond to it....
I use Navidrome as the backend and DSub to connect to it. When I’m on the go I use a site-to-site wireguard VPN connection back to my server to listen to music and it also caches the songs so even if I don’t have reception I can still listen to my music.

Android - How to verify that torrent traffic is going over Mullvad VPN?
I have Mullvad and my torrent app isn’t set to split tunnel. Is there any way to verify that traffic is going through Mullvad?
