Ich (seit vielen Jahren IGM Mitglied) mag die IGM nicht besonders, da es immer noch keinen Tarifvertrag für Zweiradmechaniker gibt und die IG Metall sich soweit ich sagen kann auch noch nie für einen solchen eingesetzt hat und das während eine Verkehrswende ausgerufen wird. Währenddessen kämpfen sie seit Ewigkeiten für Alle die in der Autoindustrie arbeiten. Absolut vorsintflutlich wenn du mich fragst.

To drop regularly the Boy´s Axe requires Rise of the Giant DLC but like with all DLC weapons, you can get lucky and find the legendary version of it in an altar, even without having the DLC installed.

could i ask your approximate age? and/or if you remember approximately what year you first saw this comic?

I saw it first today in this post here, wondering why anybody would spent such a high sum on a simple doodle like that.

i would guess that someone who doesn’t find this comic funny, not to mention historically important, must not be old enough to remember the time when most people hadn’t been online yet.

My opinion in this case has nothing to do with my age or my relationship to internet culture but is based on my perspective on comics. I have been into European comic art for my whole life and especially into the work of it´s greatest artist, Moebuis. Being used to consuming high quality comic art, I perceived the doodle of two dogs as not special.

Excuse my ignorance but is this in fact a well known meme, that I somehow never noticed in all those years on reddit?

Thank you, for sharing your perspective in such a relatable and personal way, that is really nice of you! Was the voice chat program maybe called chat roulette? Because I still remember when that came out in 2009. I also still remember having quite similar experiences in 2000 myself, when the mp3 sharing application called Napster came out. It had a built in function for text based chat, with the people you were sharing music with. I had long chats, with strangers from all around the world then and It felt absolutely crazy at first. Once, me and a dude from a tiny Caribbean island even sent burned cd roms with mp3s to each other per mail, because while I had a dual ISDN, his internet connection was much too slow to effectively share mp3s via Napster.

Thank you for the info! After getting educated about it by you and a few others, I think this proto-meme is simply much more known in the US than it is in Europe, because it was published in an american newspaper long before it found it´s way to the internet. Most users in this thread seem like US Americans, who simply assume if they know it, the whole world naturally hast know it too. That would at least explain the negative reactions to the honest question in my initial comment.

Das er ohne jede Scham lügt ist ja schon die ganze Zeit irgendwie klar gewesen. Angeblich genau die Gespräche komplett vergessen haben zu wollen die ihn belasten würden ist äußerst unglaubwürdig und unfaßbar dreist. Ich hoffe das wird drastische juristische Konsequenzen für ihn haben (wird es vermutlich nicht). Denn wenn der Bundeskanzler ganz offensichtlich ein korrupter Lügner ist, der kriminellen Millionären dabei hilft durch Steuerbetrug erschlichenes Geld behalten zu können und das keine Konsequenzen hat, sendet es ein sehr verheerendes Signal an die sowieso schön total politikmüden deutschen Wähler.

I liked W3 a lot, played through the base game and both DLCs several times, spent 700 hours in the game. However, considering the trends in the games industry (except for Larian/BG3) right now, I don´t have particularly high hopes for any future AAA releases in general.

Ich verstehe irgendwie nicht was du mir damit sagen willst. Die Atlantik Brücke ist eines der Werkzeuge der USA, um innerhalb der NATO die Diplomatie mit Deutschland zu koordinieren. Selbstverständlich gehört da nicht nur Einflußname auf Politik, sondern auch auf die Medien dazu und dementsprechend sitzen da auch die großen deutschen Medien mit im Boot.

Not a review but more general information for you: If you´re into RTS and have never tried a game running on the (open source) spring engine, do it now! Graphics of most are outdated but the gameplay and possibilities to customize are unmatched in the genre. Spring engine allows for both, micromanagement focused gameplay and huge battles on large maps. There are several Total Annihilation based games for spring engine but also lots of others, like WWII and Star Wars based ones for example. Beyond all reason seems to be the game on spring engine with the most pretty graphics right now, so it´s a good starting point.

Hey! I checked the wiki and asked on discord. It seems like there is no way to refill the health flask while inside the training room. If you die inside the training room you are sent back to the entrance hall, from there you can just enter the training room again if you want to practice some more.
