You mean when China and other countries have been fudging the numbers on their supposed GDP.
China should be fucked. It’s biggest industry’s is house building and it’s just been building fake cities to keep up with this apparent industry. It’s building for the sake of numbers going up in a spreadsheet.
If Chinas numbers stop going up maybe other countries numbers also won’t go up.
Why won’t anyone think of the shareholders. Someone please do something. All numbers must go up at all times.
Pretty sure I have never bought an item in game. I buy dlcs if I really enjoy the game and want to continue.
Maybe govt needs to crack down on in game purchases.
Or people need to be less dumb. Dunno. Is buying video game crap any worse than pints at the pub cigs at the shop. If I fill my house with figurines vs skins in a game.
So nothing backing up your claim. 1 lawyer claimed psychologist had been hired but with zero proof. I think you are taking rumors and running with them.
Psychs don’t have anything specific to add to gambling. Gambling is easy enough to replicate without any special traits psychs could add.
Try to refrain from calling into disrepute the psychological profession. It’s bad enough without this shit
In what way ? I haven’t used Plex yet. It shows you what you have on your other streams. I tried to play a vid I have downloaded but it refused to play. Don’t get the hype.
Would just use a pirate site and stream from thereb
Now that is fucking excellent. Unfortunately I do not have a laptop. Might need to see if I can hook something up to do that though. Think a ras pi could handle that.
If. And this is the biggest if in history. But if Netflix and other streaming sites had the bandwidth and computing power to take on Nvidia.
Fuck. Just new era of Gaming. If you could stream games to Netflix Disney apple whatever. Play games on tvs everywhere. That would be an enormous change. I doubt it would happen as Nvidia is still struggling to get games on its service as devs just refuse.
But hopefully with a shake up we the consumers can finally get a bit of price parity.
Stop locking games behind consoles or overpriced gaming rigs. Far more competition in the gaming world would be epic.
Plus you could rock up anywhere with a controller in hand. Sign in and play to your hearts content.
Users will be able to manually revoke that permission on Android 14 (already available in the current beta under Apps -> Special app access -> Full screen notifications);...
I think maybe a bit stale. Futurama was my favorite and I recently binged them all last year.
I think there’s soo much animation these days that Futurama doesn’t do anything new. It was new and exciting when it came out. I love futurology but Futurama doesn’t really use it’s year 3000 much. It’s more humdrum stuff that doesn’t even need aliens and robots and stuff
I soooo wanted to love disenchantment. I waited patiently and I’ve watched it, a few times. It’s not good. It’s not funny it’s pretty dull and they just didn’t put that much humour into it. Real let down. I enjoy the animation and the fantasy but it’s nothing on konosuba or something similar.
Oh absolutely. I like the fantasy of Futurama and think they are doing things that don’t require that fantasy. It could be the year now and the exact same plot could play out. I think that’s where the future has caught up to Futurama, they are actually behind the times now.
I like konosuba as it was a fantasy world but without all the seriousness and was just a goofy. Similar to one punch man. It’s making fun of the genre. It’s easy watching and was a breathe of fresh air.
It’s now been done to death and honestly doesn’t hit like it did 10 years ago. But it’s where I was hoping disenchantment was going but it never knew what it wanted to do and just kinda flailed about.
I’ve been questioning if android is even profitable enough for manufacturers to justify it in the US, like apple has the largest market share in the US and I see that everyday. Nearly every phone I see is an iPhone. The android phones I do see are rarely flagships.
Just spewing utter bullshit. Google phones are top class. Generally the highest rates of android on the market. There’s more android OEM than you can Shake a stock at. New ones come onboard pretty regularly and old ones fade away. I think HTC is coming BS k from the dead. Sony continues to churn out decent enough phones and youve got the OnePlus and other Chinese phones under that brand.
All pretty decent and every single one of them can text and play tiktok. If that’s your criteria a dumb phone from 2010 can do that.
Why would you pedastall a 1200$ or however much apple goes for. If you want basics buy basics.
Regularly gets voted top android phone. So yeah. Top class. All phones have issues. Does pixel have more or less issues than any other. Hard to say. Plenty issues though. Battery drain is software though and impacts all phones.
No. iPhone has the most expensive phone options. What’s the cheapest flagship for this year ?
Apologies at the $20 difference. I’ve no interest in fact checking you. I’m assuming they’re a high end iPhone that’s gold and cones with extra security and such. But yeah loads of phones have overheating. My OnePlus 9 had horrible over heating. Samsungs gave been prone to it and plenty other ones. Sometimes they explode.
Phones have defects like everything else.
No argument on software side. Apple is great with software. It had lawsuits because it intentionally slows the phone to a crawl though. Samsung and other androids can be unlocked and flashed though.
Same as any other phone. Apples had a tendency to turn off under 30%. Things are getting better but always going to be defective products. Not defending Google or any oem.
We the consumers should get better. But that doesn’t change that plenty bloggers highly rate pixel phones.
I use a 6 pro. Had it’s pros and cons like any other brand.
No, it’s not the same as any other phone. Pixels get reviewed well because the reviewers get units that have been double checked and ensured that they are defect-free, and they are not used for very long before the verdicts get published.
Yeah. Literally every phone gets that. Not special case for pixels. C’mon aye.
If you go to places like r/GooglePixel or any of the Lemmy alternatives, they’re full of users complaining about the finicky connectivity, bad displays, or unreliable fingerprint readers, in numbers that are far higher per-user than other brands.
If you go to rany sub. Folk are talking mad shit. OnePlus was just a wall of angry people. And for good reason. These phones are expensive and should be held to a high standard.
Give me stats on pixels being worse or it’s pointless. Gotta back up anecdotal information which this all is.
Google phones sell significantly fewer units than, say, Samsung, but they have noticeably more users complaining about technical issues.
Oh absolutely, 1 point. Well made. Maybe source something next time but Yeah

I get that there are other types of organizations. However I was being a dick and saying that if you aren’t for capitalism you are for communism. Obviously they are other choices but just for ease sake.
It’s kinda like if you aren’t this then by default you are this. Null hypothesis and such. Yada yada
I can only see this going into a very dystopian path. Based on their actions, I don’t trust these companies, their security practices, nor their privacy policies. Why would I give them my biometrics? And my full palm, at that!? Hell no!
How do biometrics get leaked ? Can they 3d print my finger ? What difference does it make to all my dsta getting sold on the daily ? I don’t see how it changes things
Right. But can’t they do that anyway? Your ID is linked to your finances. You get people stealing IDs all day everyday.
Family Guy did an episode on it.
If I’ve got your records you I’d birth certificate your job numbers your state details. Address phone emails passport passwords. I’m you. Except I have my biometrics.
Biometrics cannot be forcibly taken. I can’t rock up to the bank manager with a severed finger. Yet I can take out a loan in your name without the fingerprint.
For fuck sake our security relies on signature. A badly written name.

I'd rather have a "Would you like to hide all Sports related Content?" button than a "Would you like to hide all NSFW content?" button
What's a more niche sub that hasn't taken off here (yet) that you miss?
For me it’s some of the music ed, trumpet and book subs.
