Giving you that sweet upvote for mentioning Gattacca. I don’t usually rewatch movies, but I’ve seen that one 5 or 10 times. Second on my list is The Princess Bride, but even that is at most 5 times, mostly introducing it to my kids or friends.
It’s not even a good solution. Take, for example, Earth. Half the people are gone. We’re at about 8 billion people now. Know when we were at half that? 1973. This solution puts the clock back by 50 years, causes a lot of pain and strife, and Thanos (and most people on earth) would likely have lived long enough to see the correction he made undone. When a solution that drastic doesn’t solve the problem for even a lifetime, it doesn’t even approach being a good one.
I already actively scroll past the obvious reddit reports, and that’s all that instance brings to the table. I’m usually hesitant about defederating but in this case it seems to be the best choice if we don’t want this content around, and they even encourage it if that’s how we feel.
Back in the day I used to really like browsing soundcloud, listening to mashups, indie artists, and whatnot. Eventually soundcloud got too big and took down a lot of content (probably due to copyright) and introduced paid “pro” accounts. Is there a place like the early soundcloud on the fediverse?
Even then, with the effort Steam has put in, there is a lot more support for games on Linux, one way or the other, than there was before, and not necessarily as difficult, either. All of my admittedly small collection of frequently played games should work on Linux. I need to refresh my Windows, maybe it’s time to try Linux out for my gaming machine.

And the 1980 crash, which lead to many banking regulations, which were removed shortly before the 2008 crash for stifling the economy. Stifling and stabilizing look very similar until you get to the negative parts.
What movie did you rewatch most often?
For me, it’s either the Matrix or Pulp Fiction. I have seen both a lot of times but certainly not more often than say a dozen times.
