DrCake,

Photoshopped, dog is correct

DrCake,

A savings account? In this economy?

DrCake,

Wow thank you. I thought it was Wednesday for a while but now I know better

DrCake,

Thank you for your service o7

DrCake,

About time. Willy jiggle physics have for too long lost out to titty jiggle physics

DrCake,

For some services sure it would be annoying. But for a service that stores peoples photos this seems like a good thing.

DrCake,

Think more BBC than Fox News

DrCake,

If slick tyres are used in F1, they’re good enough for me.

DrCake,

This isn’t about the game but

Rockstar didn’t immediately respond to a request for comment sent after business hours

What did they expect? Either send it in business hours or wait?

DrCake,

Insurance companies will install them for cheaper insurance. With car insurance being incredibly high for young drivers, £1000+ a year, most people effectively have no choice for the first few years.

Eventually you’ll get enough years “no claims bonus” to get decent insurance offers without a box.

DrCake,

Crazy to think Al Lewis looks just like the Zodiac killer

DrCake,

Ehh. For iPhone you are only missing out on “Live Voicemail”. I can’t remember the last time I even got a voicemail so don’t think I’m missing much

DrCake,

CRANKING ONES HOG IS A STATE OF MIND

DrCake,

For me it’s not even about that. I do not care about US politics, I just want to see some funny memes

DrCake,

I’m from the UK, our politics is bad enough without throwing US in there

DrCake,

I find it quite difficult to block only US politics due to how it’s the “default” so people rarely specify it’s the US. It also just tends to be constant work as new scandals and stuff pop up.

If anyone has some good filters please let me know.

DrCake,

Some still survive but mostly just for tourists to take a picture next to. Hardly any of those left, even the “modern” ones, actually have a working phone.

DrCake,

I get your point about drivers exceeding the limit anyway. They trialed the 20mph in our area and on some roads it doesn’t feel like anything has changed.

Hopefully with this put in place first, they can then target areas where people are over and have the legal “backing” to add traffic calming.

DrCake,

“Signs of autumn”? It’s been bloody 28°C here today. Finally a bit of summer.

Nice picture though.

DrCake,

I was amazed they still tried to get it through until now. This Sunak government has been criticised (rightly so) for getting nothing done.

Why make a big song and dance about something that experts and companies were saying was impossible, just to have to cancel it.

It highlights once again how truly useless and incompetent the tory party is at the minute.

DrCake,

The way he’s shaved his beard makes it look like he tried snacking on it

DrCake,

I don’t know anyone in the UK that actually uses it as iMessage and not just as the SMS app.

I think this goes back to the time of 3G pay monthly SIMs (before the iPhone) that would come with unlimited data, but limited texts. That pushed people to use apps like WhatsApp that basically just allowed unlimited texts.

DrCake,

Maybe the meme community isn’t the best place to ask but would cancer treatment not be covered by your health insurance in the US?

I keep seeing posts that people with long-term health issues have to pay for it themselves and that just feels like something you’d have the insurance for.

Court Says Texas’ Adult Content Age Verification Law Clearly Violates The 1st Amendment (www.techdirt.com)

We’ve been talking a lot by the rush of states to push for age verification laws all over the world, despite basically every expert noting that age verification technology is inherently a problem for privacy and security, and the laws mandating it are terrible. So far, it seems that only the Australian government has decided...

DrCake,

You’d think that Texas, a state known for their love of the 2nd amendment, would have at least read the rest of it up to that point.

DrCake,

Not just the US, the UK is the same unfortunately

DrCake,

Also me when she finds it in a place I already looked

In its first week, Immortals of Aveum had a peak count of just 751 players on Steam. (steamdb.info)

After 5 years in development and heavily pushing Unreal Engine 5 technologies, Immortals of Aveum was met with a whopping 751 player peak. For reference, Forspoken was considered a flop but still had over 12,000 players peak total. This may be the biggest flop of the year.

DrCake,

I wonder how much of that is just due to it being an EA game and so people pick it up on the EA store. Although could also be their marketing. Maybe I’m just not in the target demographic but I saw 1 ad for it before launch and it explained nothing about the game. From that all I took was that it looked like a shitty early access game.

DrCake,

Is it normal in America to tip your hairdresser/barber?
