During covid times I heard many interesting conspiracy predictions such as the value is money will fall to zero, the whole society will collapse, the vaccine will kill 99% of the population etc. None of those things have happened yet, but can you add some other predicitons to the list?...
I did have motion sickness at first but got used to it quite quickly. It actually disappeared on the 2nd/3rd day of use I think. I have absolutely no problem driving race sims all day long if needed, I’ve been using my VR gear for 3 years now.
I used Plex for my home media for almost a year, then it stopped playing nice for reasons I gave up on diagnosing. While looking at alternatives, I found Jellyfin which is much more responsive, IMO, and the UI is much nicer as well....
Bitwarden is to me the simplest and most effective PW manager, just perfect at what it does. I however switched from Bitwarden to Proton Pass only because the latter has a mail aliases generation integrated (with Proton Unlimited)

Idk, I’m not from the US and don’t know what jokes you guys see on daily basis. Thing is, I couldn’t care less if you find that funny or not. What’s also funny is that the comment had +/- 10 upvotes and 0 downvotes till you guys came saying this is right leaning, trans hate and other utter crap. What was a simple joke (that you don’t find funny, I get it) is now labelled something way different. Gotta love this culture.

Again, lots of assumptions. I just wasn’t pleased to read that my joke was labelled as a “gotcha I can use against trans people” (to quote it) as if it was my intention. It’s the internet and I shouldn’t have reacted. But feel free to assume what the hell you want, it seems you know me better than I do. All I see is a bunch of butt hurt people calling anything anti-trans/hate speech. What’s even funnier is that my joke is +/- exactly the same as the one posted in the meme.
I believe it’s not a matter of is it harmful or not ? Just that there are rules and they’re not Apple’s to change. Until governments and societies decide to change them, they must comply.

Vous mettez le doigt dans cet engrenage et c’en est fini de vous. Je me donne personnellement deux ans pour radicalement changer mon hygiène numérique et c’est un enfer. Ça demande de revoir ses usages numériques et de faire quelques (voire nombreuses) concessions. C’est ceci-dit aussi passionnant que dystopique.
Tant mieux si ça ne te pose pas trop de problèmes ! Mais à mon sens, remplacer les OS de son Pc et téléphone n’est pas à la portée de tous du tout. Puis c’est déjà un sacrifice : les gafam ont créé tout un écosystème aussi performant qu’agréable à utiliser. S’en séparer, c’est aussi renoncer à un certain confort. Typiquement, je joue beaucoup et passer sous Linux n’est pas envisageable. DuckDuckGo est bien et je m’en sers, mais n’est toujours pas aussi performant qu’un Google. J’ai aussi Signal, mais je ne compte pas casser les pieds à mon entourage (surtout familial) à les faire télécharger l’appli juste pour me contacter. J’ai fini par abandonner et attends avec impatience le DMA européen et les décisions qui seront prises (ou non) sur l’interopérabilité.
Personnellement, j’utilise aussi toute la suite Proton. Je ne renseigne même plus mon mail perso sur aucun site, je n’utilise que des alias. C’est déjà du boulot en soi : faut tout remplacer petit à petit. Ça prend pas mal de temps. Idem pour les mdp, tous générés aléatoirement. J’utilise aussi un VPN, mais certains sites les bloquent, etc.
Je trouve que c’est un parcours du combattant qui demande un investissement en temps, personnel et parfois financier. Il faut faire des concessions et je vois mal comment, avec les tas de mauvaises habitudes que l’on a, on peut trouver ça facile. Quand je vais dire à ma copine qu’elle doit aller sur GrapheneOS ou CalyxOS, Linux sur son Pc, qu’elle doit quitter Insta pour PixelFed et qu’il faut qu’elle abandonne Gmail et qu’elle prenne Signal (avec lequel elle ne pourra communiquer avec littéralement personne de son entourage), je suis pas certain qu’elle s’en réjouisse !

First things that come to my mind is that you can show as many comments as you like and include post details. Most of the time it doesn’t fit on a single screenshot, so I have to take more than one, I also have to crop, etc. You can also select which thread you want to show and hide other comments. It’s quite handy really. Apollo allowed us to add a little watermark for a bit of promotion. Can’t hurt Lemmy or Voyager

I found the shortcut on a quite old article, I guess the 14 Pro (Max) wasn’t here yet. I doubt it will be updated, but tweaking the shortcut itself a bit could work. There must be a pic, somewhere, of the iPhone that has to be replaced by a newer model.
