Hadn’t had much news on bungie since I left Destiny when discovered the hybrid cashgrab/turd that was Lightfall. Reddit was my main source of info, so leaving it for Lemmy didn’t help.
I had no idea they went trough a massive layoff.
It’s a shame, most of what I had against D2 was clearly management-related and the team feelt so talented (Arts, Gameplay, story…).
Ah they kept the graphical choice of Planetary Annihilation… Not my favorite (I know, purely personal taste).
Like the idea a lot thought. Could be fun to have a “two mans team” mode where you can split the tasks however you want (two different fronts with production and battle? One full production and one commander? Etc…)
Wasn’t Planetary Annihilation developed by Uber? I need to take a look a the kickstarter. Thanks for the share!

This article is hilarious because like the author I didn’t know what I was doing and chose bard as my first character (still don’t know what I’m doing but I’m trying) and would do a lot of the same tricks he did. Pushing people off a ledge was my go to.
Ah that’s true, I realize it now that you put it your finger in it: ME2 is really a “let’s tour the universe” kind of story fleshing out the background of known races (and adding new ones) and places.
“Many companies are realizing they could have been a lot more measured in their approach, rather than making big, bold, very controversial decisions based on executives’ opinions rather than employee data,” Larry Gadea, Envoy’s CEO and founder, tells CNBC Make It.
I’m spending a week in La Jolla, CA, USA, about 15ft above sea level and I’m wondering where the sewage goes? There’s no room between here and the sea for a treatment plant. There’s pretty big apartment complexes and hotels that would need enormous septic tanks. How does it work?

I hate how everything requires you to download a shitty proprietary data harvesting app nowadays when everything can be done just fine without an app.
