Not the epic space saga similar to Mass effect Trilogy I was hoping for but not a bad game either. Exploration is fun enough, base building is good, ship combat also felt nice.Quests are a mixed bag, some feel really dated and mundane. Performance is pretty bad i.e the game is very demanding. Struggles to maintain a steady native 60fps on the 3060ti at 1440p even on low or medium settings. Maybe patches will make a difference. Honestly this feels like something I would pick up during a sale or play on game pass, not worth the full price for me at least.
No, any sufficiently advanced A.I can and will outclass humans. For example: there are chess A.I’s that have beaten GM’s as good as Magnus Carlsen on multiple occasions. The better an A.I gets at something the tougher it becomes to counter it. This is one of the biggest risks of A.I development that one day we might make something that makes us seem obsolete. On the positive side that day is really really far.
This morning I read the article about Denuvo on Switch. What do fellow pirates think of this? Could it pave the way for that crap on other consoles as well? Is it time to become a datahearer? (⌐■_■)
Yeah, it sucks but then what can we do to prevent it… absolutely nothing. We have only one person willing to crack denuvo for a select few games and who knows when she might quit. Video game piracy has been in a tricky spot for sometime now.

I am really looking forward to Starfield, I am a sucker for everything space. I also really wanna try out BG3 but a bit intimidated as I have never played a CRPG.
I guess I am just happy as we got some bangers like BG3 ,Zelda Tears of the kingdom and FFXVI this year. Also Starfield and Spiderman 2 really excites me. But yeah this has seen its fair share of shitty releases and scummy practices.

May be this is a personal thing but whenever I am trying to learn something new, I just go the old fashioned way and get myself books on that topic. A lot of love and attention goes into writing books,making them very detailed and elaborate and imo they are still the best way to learn something. Ebooks included.

looks like rendering adblockers extensions obsolete with manifest-v3 was not enough so now they try to implement DRM into the browser giving the ability to any website to refuse traffic to you if you don’t run a complaint browser ( cough…firefox )...
Exactly if piracy didn’t exist a lot of resources on the internet would just be inaccessible for a lot of people , especially those in third world countries. You think people in third world countries are going to pay 70$(a considereable part of their monthly income) to play the new mario game. They have important stuff they could spend that money on like food or health care.
If piracy didn’t exist the new games would simply become inaccessible for a lot of people, I don’t know about the rest of the world but I will give you an example of my country. Getting a gaming PC in my country hurts your wallet like you are buying an house, you are going to have to save for a while before you can afford a entry level gaming pc( like rtx 3050 or equivalent). The average monthly wage here is like $350-$409, you think someone with this income will put 70$ into a game ? A lot of people use piracy as a medium to get access to expensive software like photoshop or ms suite that would otherwise be inaccessible and run their small businesses usually cyber cafes. It’s not just about getting free shit, for some people it’s the only option.
