A friend of mine and I are trying setting up an unRAID server. We used the crack on getintopc but it didn’t work and we still have a 30 day trial. Is that normal or can we ignore that notification?

I think La Pucelle: Tactics had a whale monster at one point in its story… I wouldn’t mind seeing a whale monster in a Disgaea game. Also skunks. They’re not in La Pucelle but I want skunks to be in a Disgaea game too… because I really like skunks.

I just moved into a new house, and it has a weird step in the bottom of the closet, that is covered in carpet. I’ve seen this before, and it could just be coincidence, but is there possibly a weird architecture or design reason for this, or is it just a quirk?

I have an old laptop which didn’t exactly have top of the line specs when I bought it back in 2016. It does, however, run Ubuntu pretty competently (yes I know there are better distros, no I am not going to use them). It was cheap. As in it came with a Celeron in 2016 cheap, so it isn’t the speediest little guy....

For me, it was PhotoPrism. I used to be an idiot, and used Google Photos as my gallery. I knew that it was terrible for privacy but was too lazy to do anything about it. When Google limited storage for free accounts, I started looking for alternatives. Tried out a lot of stuff, but ended up settling on PhotoPrism....

I’ve moved from the Google Pixel 4A, which had an excellent fingerprint sensor on the back of the phone, to the 7A....

I tried logging in on browser and I had inspected the request. My password was sent in plaintext. Is this a infosec.pub issue or a Lemmy one?
