@osma It was not about “competence” but whether could they legally comply with all of the requests.
The “right to be forgotten” rule does not work in every country (I do not even think it works in the #UnitedStates 🇺🇸), & #Japan 🇯🇵 might require them to hold onto user data that the #EuropeanUnion 🇪🇺 requires them to delete.
#Misseky instances in Japan 🇯🇵 are simply avoiding being ensnared between two sets of potentially conflicting laws which is wise.
