I originally read the Otherland series by Tad Williams in Swedish when it was new, and I remember it made quite an impression on me.
Enough that I've now started re-reading it in English. The impression is perhaps not as strong, but I blame myself for that. 😁
I would througly recommend it to anyone who like sci-fi and especially cyberpunk.
Styl Neila Gaimana jest niepodrabialny - nie znam drugiego autora, który by go kopiował (więc pewnie po prostu mało wiem). I co prawda jakoś nigdy nie ekscytuję się, gdy przede mną jest jego książka, ale mimo wszystko zawsze jestem oczarowany po lekturze, bo ten pisarz potrafi tworzyć genialne światy, a raczej rzeczywistość. Często lepszą od bohaterów, ale za to dochodzi do tego dobra, baśniowa historia na granicy światów.

I don't talk about this much because I suck at promoting myself, but for those of you who weren't aware, I published some books. Three of them are a fantasy trilogy still available via Carina Press, under the pen name of Angela Highland. The other two are books 1 and 2 of an urban fantasy series, self-published under my actual name, Angela Korra'ti.
And since I continue to be unemployed AF right now, if I could make anything at all off of sales to new readers, that'd sure be super helpful right now.
