Does anybody know where to buy a copy of Morningstar, Liz William’s final #DetectiveInspectorChen novel? I tried Smashwords, which lead me to her Live Journal where I saw she was selling it self-pubbed back in 2014. There are a couple of comments from late 2022 on her LJ that have gone unanswered about this same thing.

Tired of spending your days grinding away at a job that makes other people rich, just because the factory maintains the Evil One's subterranean prison? Me too.
Is there a hashtag where publishers here post open calls for shorts or novellas? Particularly in #sff#scifi#fantasy I'm looking at opencall hashtags but none seem to be on writing.
Check out this recent review of my novel, Below the Heavens - JiangXi.

Today's indie author review! "The Flying Mermaid" by Eule Grey, I Volcano book 1.5:
"Very well written... a beautifully told tale of strength in times of hardship and resistance during times of conflict. I have not read the other stories in the series, but I have put them on my list."
"The word of the desert was this: I am made from all the dusts of the bones of men who have perished here, and my rocks are monuments to mountains I have ground away.
There were no green places, no springs. To this desert, such as these were wounds which it had healed with aridity. What it could not eradicate, it buried."
"The goal is not perfection but a little bit better than before. Tarnished but not rotten. And that little bit had to be protected and nurtured and watched. The title Night Watch suggests this duty: The work of preserving the good of humanity during evil times is the night watch."
I just published the sixth chapter of the second novel in my series, Below the Heavens - ZhiXia!
The first full novel and all six chapters of the second one are available to read for free. You can find the links to both of my publishing sites in my bio.
If you're looking for a good spooky season read, check out Dionysus in Wisconsin. It's got magic, mythos, music, demons, dancing, drugs, love, libraries, and literature aplenty.
Good Monday, Mastodon! My review of Jas Treadwell's 'The Infernal Riddle of Thomas Peach', in which I praise the typography and narrative voice alike to the skies, is live on Nerds of a Feather.
Seriously, do not let this book escape your notice. It is a gothic delight.
