@horrorbooks @bookstodon Calling all #horror #book fans! RED RABBIT, by Alex Grecian, is as good as you've heard. I would recommend it to any horror fan. It's completely bonkers, quite unsettling, imaginative, dark, and has a ton of characters, yet it really works.

@markdevries @bookstodon @horror @scifi Sadly, I haven't had much luck publishing eBooks anywhere else. My first two novels for example were available on other platforms such as Apple Books and Google Play for years but never sold enough to justify keeping them there when compared to being Amazon exclusive via Kindle Unlimited. Fortunately, things aren't quite so locked down on the print side of things, at least for paperbacks, and those can now often be found in (or ordered by) various places.

@thevglibrary @bookstodon RTZ did have a few moments that were kind of tricky. Especially since right at the very beginning of the game you can miss something crucial then get locked out of going back. That was a dirty trick.

Love the game to death, but once or twice I just had to use a guide I admit.

I’ve just finished Silent Vows by Jill Ramsower ( 1/The Byrne Brothers). I will definitely be following up on the other in this series. Lots of meh on GR but I liked it for the FMC & her attempts to adjust to a different sort of crime family while still traumatized by her father. Also I like OTT possessive protective MMCs so this was a win for me. @romancebooks

I can’t remember why I decided to Faking Ms Right by Claire Kingsley. I am not fond of the fake-relationship genre, though a bit of stranger rescue can be fun, & I like boss-employee tropes. But the is entertaining. And I found a scene! @romancebooks

When a population becomes distracted by trivia, when cultural life is redefined as a perpetual round of entertainments, when serious public conversation becomes a form of baby-talk, when, in short, a people become an audience, and their public business a vaudeville act, then a nation finds itself at risk; -death is a clear possibility.

I have a confession to make.

I have never - never - a Nora Roberts . I could try to excuse myself, but it comes down to the fact that my mom & MIL both read them all. So I didn’t.

Which one should be my first? Left to my own devices, I might pick The Liar.

I’m via Devil’s Bride ( 1/Cynster but 2nd chronologically). I think I first this in 2009 when it was released & have listened to it before, too. When reading on paper or ebook, it’s possible to skip the epically long sex or nearly-sex scenes - pretty sure one of them lasts over 20 pages. This one is neither my favorite nor my least favorite of the Cynsterverse. @romancebooks

Returning from the farmer’s market, I found this alarming rubber mask in my shopping cart…

So, I took it as a sign to make a short reminding people of an anthology I am in calling for people to wake up and Dump Trump:

@EgyptianAphorist @bookstodon is that an n95 or a kn95? Either one would be better than a surgical mask. I don't think big rubber Trump masks respiratory viruses at all.
