I'm not sure what you mean by "Advanced Search -URL" but on Kbin you can put federated #links on the search bar to get (or create) the Kbin version. It works with microblogs, threads and comments.
stop using #tabs and your #browser#history to save #links. i shouldn't have to explain why, but i will. you're gonna lose those tabs when your browser crashes (WHEN.). browser history should be cleared often. don't depend on that.

Reliable online #news by experienced journalists: good thing. Subscription/paywall to get more in-depth reporting (as an alternative to being fed advertisements), probably also a good thing. Journalists have to eat too. #Links to the online news: good thing, journalists get to eat more, more people get informed.
Payment/#tax to publish links to aforementioned news? Unless those links are being accompanied by blatant plagiarism of the linked news articles, this makes no sense.
