#NowPlaying Sunny Ade & His Green Spot Band - The Master Guitarist Vol. 1 (African Songs Ltd, 1970). More raw than his better-known 80s records, but already a potent rhythmic and lyrical force.
Kyuss - Blues For The Red Sun. Weird release as it appears to have all the same packaging as the US release but is infact a gold varient of the euro release and Sounds fantastic! #vinyl@vinylrecords#NowPlaying
@Whiskeyomega@vinylrecords my friend Joe would be interested in this as he has a large collection covering these folks & associated. We'll be seeing QotSA at Wembley Arena next month and he saw Mondo Generator play locally to us on a small stage the other month.
I have been passively looking for these in the shops since returning to vinyl collecting and have never seen a copy worth considering. I finally went the discogs route where there are hundreds for sale. Not sure why they never show up in shops. Classic albums. Starless is easily my favorite #KingCrimson album.
@icastico@vinylrecords In my experience selling vinyl records to shops is not worth the effort. They offer you at most 1/3 of the median selling price on Discogs. Most of the times even less. I wouldn’t offer them my collection. That’s why collectible records only show up at Discogs, Ebay, or at record fairs, where prices are at the same level as on Discogs but you save on shipping costs.
The second album I owned (Stevie Wonder Talking Book was the 1st), this was the first record I paid my own money for - with a bag of pennies. I ended up owning all of ELP’s work eventually. This one and Trilogy hold up the best imho.

Next up on tonight special Miles Davis Livestream… On The Corner - quite possibly one of his most psychedelic efforts. #Jazz #NowPlaying #LiveStream
