I found that if I hold the steam deck using my fingers and upper palm high on the deck, it creates less strain. This means my palms can’t rest on the lower half. Would this grip make it better to hold so I can rest my lower palms on something?
I used Ubuntu briefly years ago but never really dove into the world of Linux. Are there any useful or fun programs for Linux that work well in desktop mode on the deck? Thanks
I have run into an unusual problem. I left my deck to download BG3 while I was at work and when I returned it had crashed. Is the performance for docked games better in game mode or desktop mode? Let’s say CS:GO - would the performance (docked) be better in game mode (resolution set in properties to 1080p) or desktop mode (1080p)? Thanks....
I had fun playing it on PC, but the game is just that much more fun and immersive on the Deck. I’d say it’s the first game where I’ve noticed a big difference since I got my Deck last week....

I was on the edge buying the thing and told myself that if I use it 50 hours it’s a reasonable purchase. Now I’m sporting closer to 200h within one year I could not be happier....
