True first person, not a floating head but legs arms....
Is there a way to do this? Its pretty tedious to pick a book, go to your inventory, read it, discard it, everytime.
I’m not saying color grading is a bad thing, but I personally prefer natural lighting in games over “cinematic” filters....
I just think it’s a neat little addition that gives you that, “ahhhhhhhhh, I remember that!” feeling.
I’m further along in the game and have an outpost set up where I can easily dump resources, along with production from other places providing all kinds of resources....
what are your weapons of choice?
I know a lot of people hate this kind of feature, but there are significant reasons why I think it would make Starfield better....
Thanks to whoever took the time to transcribe those....
The guns are fucking dope as shit. I don’t even care if they have less damage than what I already use, every time I find a new type of gun it’s just such a cool, badass design I can’t help but want to use it… And I’ve really just been focusing on pistols right now. The rifles and shotguns and lasers… Not to mention...
Has anyone used the mod manager by Nexus Mods? If so, does it work well or do you prefer to install the mods yourself?
so far for my space suit I got a deepseeker helmet and a shocktroop suit which I think matches well enough, I like the helmet a lot...
Just went through a Starfield experience that sort of awed me. Wanted to capture some pirate ships, I took a mission from Freestar Rangers mission terminal to destroy a “Crimson Fleet Captain.” I thought it was a person, but that’s the name of a ship....
My friends a hater, but I guess so am I.
I mean, we never got more than half a minute of gameplay before they jumped to something totally different. Nothing to gauge what the actual gameplay loop is like and how all those systems feed into each other. The bigger previews are all kept under closed doors and hush-hush....

To start, I’m glad that your ship inventory follows you when you switch home ships. It would be a pain to have to transfer everything manually and end up with multiple ships housing forgotten inventory forcing you to search ship after ship in your fleet to find specific items. However, my primary ship is built out to have an...
So: Neon and Paradiso excepted, has anyone seen any oceans or rivers in the game as yet?...
I already disliked all the references to US history in Fallout 4. To me, cowboys feel misplaced in a science fiction universe. It’s just personal preference though. But the question stands: are large parts of the main story related to the cowboy characters, or does it work mostly without?
They mentioned you can go to a settlement on Mars, so you can visit the Sol system, but Earth hasn’t been mentioned. Either it’s off-limits, like in Elite Dangerous where you need a permit to visit, or it’s heavily altered, perhaps by nuclear war or climate change so they don’t have to recreate all of Earth, or they...
The spoiler warning is just a formality since I’m sure everyone knows about temples and what they hold within....
Update: Turns out that I didn’t play far enough into the main quest. After joining That space adventure club thing and bringing Lisa Sarah with me I was able to finally get where I needed to be to complete that timed quest....
For me, I'm really hoping for ocean biomes/planets and large waterfalls and rivers. With the ability to make bases on any planet Id really love maximum biome diversity so I can fly around and pick a best vacation home, but so far the generation of the planets looks to not have too much verticality and I haven't seen more water...
This annoyed me. You can boost pack all the way from your New Atlantis penthouse balcony to the New Atlantis star port. Off a skyscraper, travel for miles. It’s fantastic - everyone should do it. Really gives a sense of the scale and capability of the world and game. It does that better than any actual quest or cutscene… bit...
