To clarify : abortion rights as a constitutional amendment means the right to an abortion is absolute under the eyes of the constitution. It would be fully up to the one that is pregnant and the doctor. No interference from the government.

Hello, and forgive me for throwing in a text post. I was wondering what you guys would recommend for a newcomer! I just got into black metal about 6 months ago, and I’m digging it, mostly Mayhem and Darkthrone and Bathory, so nothing super out-there or unknown. I’d love some recommendations for good bands!

When building out the database of recommended Lemmy communities, I think it makes the most sense to prioritize the communities that belong to instances focused on a specific topic over communities that are based in a “general” instance, even if currently the community is smaller in the topic-specific instance....

I’m just happy to see that someone read something I wrote and feel like they deserve to be seen for that.

They’re used as anti-semetic slurs by the far right. There seems to be a proclivity to use the terms as applied to bug-eating politics, but unfortunately the term is simply too associated with anti-semetism and I think particularly given the current conflict it makes good sense to filter it.
