I am absolutely sick of Windoze and I’m trying out Linux Mint for my work computer. This has been a bit of a learning curve but I have almost everything working the way I want… but the sticking point is my company uses Dropbox for all file sharing and repository....

Hello folks!...

I have an old laptop which didn’t exactly have top of the line specs when I bought it back in 2016. It does, however, run Ubuntu pretty competently (yes I know there are better distros, no I am not going to use them). It was cheap. As in it came with a Celeron in 2016 cheap, so it isn’t the speediest little guy....

The only Linux questions community I found appears to be locked, so I hope it’s ok to ask here…...

TL;DR: Have a very expensive laptop and want to make sure I can create a partition on two SSDs in RAID 0 without messing up everything....

There a website for the modes on CKB? Like where I can download user made stuff?...

I just installed debian 12 on an old laptop, and it has gnome. I’ve installed KDE, but when I log in it still pulls up gnome. How do I change it to KDE? Thanks.

i’ve created my own wifi router & firewall using pci passthrough for the network card to a kvm/libvirt/qemu virtual machine running pfsense hosted on an ubuntu server and it works well enough; but the pci id changes roughly every other reboot....

(Linux Mint) Switched to an AMD graphics card recently and ran “sudo apt remove --purge” on all ^nvidia* and ^libnvidia* packages. Unfortunately, one package (libnvidia-compute-470) seems to not get the message and won’t remove itself. Quick search around the internet on solutions have not resolved the issue yet. Wondering...
