Thanks, any feedback would be welcome!

christos,
@christos@lemmy.world avatar

Thank you, I am glad you like it. I have been trying to improve it, adding functionalities, improving the selection mechanism with cursor and scrolling etc.

christos,
@christos@lemmy.world avatar

Hey let me know how it goes, any feedback is welcome!

@christos@lemmy.world avatar

Somehow things seem similar (perhaps better) in Greece:

Oh my bad, I misunderstood the concept of percentage.

christos,
@christos@lemmy.world avatar

Percentage, it’s percentage that is recorded, percentage.

christos,
@christos@lemmy.world avatar

Thanks!

christos,
@christos@lemmy.world avatar

I am glad you like it! Of course you can add more channels, easily, you can find the instructions in the README. Feel free to share them, too.

christos,
@christos@lemmy.world avatar

Thanks for the feedback.

Well, the two scripts are almost identical, what is more, the radio stations and tv channels lists can be already merged and run together without major issues. However, I feel that I should keep things simple,and the two ‘twins’ separate.

The colors for fzf and terminal are defined within the script:

<span style="color:#323232;">B="x1b38;5;60m" #Grid Color
</span><span style="color:#323232;">Y="
christos,
@christos@lemmy.world avatar

Sorry, had no reference, had to search it.

Well, it is a terminal window.

christos,
@christos@lemmy.world avatar

I must admit I had to look sxmo up…

thx!

christos,
@christos@lemmy.world avatar

De gustibus et coloribus…

Each user can create add and enjoy any tag and station they like!

christos,
@christos@lemmy.world avatar

Through the script you could go to https://www.radio-browser.info/search?page=1&order=clickcount&reverse=true&hidebroken=true&tagList=metal, pick the stations you fancy and headbang yourself unconscious… 🎸 🤘

christos,
@christos@lemmy.world avatar

Of course, next time I feel like writing a script, I will make sure that I let you know first, and get your approval.

christos,
@christos@lemmy.world avatar

This script could might as well be an one-liner. It was simple and easy.

christos,
@christos@lemmy.world avatar

Don’t give me new ideas…

christos,
@christos@lemmy.world avatar

Maybe. Respectfuly, feel free to move along. I fail to see the aim of your message.

christos,
@christos@lemmy.world avatar

By the way: Who’s “we”? Do you represent a group of people? Are you elected to speak for someone? Or is it the plural of some royal family? Please.

christos,
@christos@lemmy.world avatar

I know, it so indifferent to you, that you have written so many messages on my post, just to troll me. Go on, write one more, have the last word and be done with it.

christos,
@christos@lemmy.world avatar

You are right, lapsus calami

christos,
@christos@lemmy.world avatar

I know this feeling! However this script in its essence is quite simple…

christos,
@christos@lemmy.world avatar
  • Excellent catch! This one slipped through! I just fixed the bug, thank you very much!

I am happy you like it!

christos,
@christos@lemmy.world avatar

I like how people I don’t know insist on telling me what to do. Actually, I like the part where I ignore them.

christos,
@christos@lemmy.world avatar

Try this, it is less pretty, but in essence, the same:

<span style="color:#323232;">cat ~/.cache/radion/stations.txt |fzf|awk '{print $1}'|xargs mpv
</span><span style="color:#323232;">
</span>
christos,
@christos@lemmy.world avatar

Oh, no problem 😀

christos,
@christos@lemmy.world avatar

Hey, I am glad you like it ;)

christos,
@christos@lemmy.world avatar

Update: Recording functionality added, with the use of another (you guessed it) bash script

icy

Also options in read as Preferred selector are also case insensitive.

Any feedback is appreciated!

christos,
@christos@lemmy.world avatar

I like xed for coding. Simple, costumisable enough, great experience.

christos,
@christos@lemmy.world avatar

I am glad you like it. Retext is the light (and now beautiful) solution to md editing.

You can also tweak your own preferred theme if you like. If you need help doing this, don’t hesitate to ask.

christos,
@christos@lemmy.world avatar

Do you have this problem from the start? Is this the only problem you are facing? Have you installed the dependecies?

christos,
@christos@lemmy.world avatar

Thank you for your feedback, I am glad you like it.

christos,
@christos@lemmy.world avatar

I am glad you like it!

christos,
@christos@lemmy.world avatar

Oh, I see. Phew, you gave me a scare for a moment. That I will fix right now, easy. Thanks for the feedback!

christos,
@christos@lemmy.world avatar

Fixed.

I have no experience on this procedure, I have not done this before, I need to read some documentation to understand what it is you are asking, and if I can, I surely will. If you send me any helpful link, I would appreciate it.

christos,
@christos@lemmy.world avatar

I think I needed this info, I will do it today. Thank you!

christos,
@christos@lemmy.world avatar

I have now added a tag (0.1.0) on the tui-sudoku repo.

christos,
@christos@lemmy.world avatar

Great, I guess that makes this script readily available to any Arch (+Arch based distros) user who is looking for a sudoku program in the AUR, correct? Thanks very much!

christos,
@christos@lemmy.world avatar

Thank you again for the effort and contribution, it is very appreciated.
