Am I the only one noticing it about kbin's name?
kbin sounds a lot like kabin, or かびん/花瓶, which means vase in Japanese.

Yeah ernest seems to be polish and the polish kbin instance is karab.in. Still it’s kind of a weird name for a link aggregator

Spuddaccino, I think it’s pretty safe to say that the two terms are unrelated, and that most people on a non-Japanese-speaking community would not make that same connection.
