I truly think it’s a white person thing to want to be supportive, but swing so far to the right side that we make a full circle. IMO ((as a white guy that supports equal rights for every human (and domesticated animals)) we just want to help, but also want to relate but have zero fucking clue how to relate and then we just try too hard
Rj/ woke boobs smh >.> Uj/ visited the Mortal Kombat subreddit after the latest trailer…big mistake, holy crap what a cesspool, they won’t be happy until all women in MK look like plastic dolls in tiny swimsuits.
Mr Miyamoto simply does not understand the subtleties of the complex design patterns in these games. Any sufficiently skilled gamer would edge themselves until the final moments of the game, creating an experience that far surpasses anything available in other genres.
The entire side-taking on this shit is one giant circle jerk (and not even in a good way) and distraction from the increasing and very much equal-opportunity fucking (again, not even in a good way) of everybody who didn’t pop-out of the vagina of somebody who is rich.
What exactly is the problem with making and enjoying games without trying to reduce all its dimensions to a single-dimensional Identitarian Politics interpretation?
I feel like somebody on the sidelines watching two groups of fans of two different soccer teams beating each other senseless because they disagree on a decision by the referee, all sense of proportion or the true importance of, well, everything else, lost.
The entirety of human experience and human condition does not fit into 2 “sides”, not even close, so it’s quite the acephalic approach to look at everything through the prism of a very specific one-dimensional line with only 2 sides.
Absolutelly, have Principles, follow those Principles and then judge things according to those Principles when they do apply.
Reducing everything of importance to “sides”, on the other hand, is not being principled, it’s being mindlessly tribalist.
You just stated something about what’s going on in my mind, which I did not state (i.e. I did not state that “I’m the only one with principles”, not even close, and actually implied they do but go for tribalistic side-taking instead), and then you argued against that very own imaginary position you claimed I had, using an “argument” involving strawmen.
I hope you can spot the irony if you think about it enough.
