Puzzle_Sluts_4Ever,

I dislike the GD/Titan Quest style of character builds (a lot of awkward “meta” mechanics and you more or less are the same character from level ten to endgame) but GD is very much a game I go back to every few months. So pretty much a no brainer to buy this expansion. Just something about the encounter balance and meatiness of attacks keeps me happy

Which is a shame that everything feels so “whiff” in the Titan Quest remaster.

bobotron,

Just as I was finally done with this game these bastards rope me in again!

Every time I think the game has nothing new to show me they release a major patch, an expansion or add proper gamepad support so I can play it on Steam Deck as well and now this. So I usually jump in and realize how freaking good this game is. Its either installed on my desktop PC or SD or both for the past few years.

Its a no brainer and probably a day 1 purchase as the devs deserve every cent! I think another playthrough is in order soon.

Dagamant,

I was just showing off Grim Dawn to some friends who were disappointed by Diablo 4

PlantJam,

Last Epoch is another great option for those conversations.

It'll be super interesting to see how shapeshifting fits into the dual class setup.

DarkDecay,

Oh no here come another 300 or more hours invested in grim dawn. My wife’s gonna be pissed. Thanks Crate

HereticalDoughnut,

This is fantastic and unexpected news!

Vlyn,

Someone has to stop these mad men, they just keep delivering.

Grim Dawn is a total gem.

Phegan,

I love ARPGs, I grew up on diablo 2, have been playing path of exile for 10 years, but Grim Dawn has yet to resonate with me. What am I doing wrong? So many people speak highly of it, at this point, it has to be on me.

Vlyn,

Well, how far did you actually get?

Maybe you just played the wrong masteries (classes). I’m not a huge fan of guns, grenades and so on, so style wise it took a bit to find something I enjoy playing in Grim Dawn. Playing a mage also didn’t vibe with me too much.

The furthest I got was with Oathkeeper + Soldier (Warlord), throwing your shield, charging groups etc. was super fun.

As for gameplay: The secret areas and chests are neat, you’re getting rewarded for actually exploring the world. Loot is pretty good too, especially as you can target farm because the monster type you kill matters.

Story is there too, but to get fully into it you need to read a lot (as the meat of the world building is in the messages/logs you find strewn around).

The base game is nice, but they really knocked it out of the park with Ashes of Malmouth, it’s a huge expansion with really good set pieces.

qooqie,

They said no more expansions after the last one. So I am kind of hoping after this they go after grim dawn 2

They all probably jump on Titan Quest 2 after this.

voltman,

That game is being developed by an entirely different company. Even though several Crate employees worked on TQ1, Crate doesn’t own the TQ IP. THQ does.

Woah I missed that entirely. Sad eyes.

fushuan,

Just as last expansion was the last expansion, so is this one :)
