For the people who don’t know, the studio that made Patapon shut down in 2021, so they made a new studio with essentially the same people and decided to do a Patapon spiritual successor. It’s going live on Kickstarter in a few days. Can’t wait.

I remember the game had performance issues when the port first released but I’m pretty sure they patched it since then. So is it worth picking up now? Is the DLC available or part of the game already?

I’m asking because it seems to me that there are people that write guides to games that are high score addicts. Meta sneakily introduced “Platform Integrity Attestation API” which basically calls home to see whether the user has a valid license to play....

This is the first long gameplay we’ve seen of this game and I’m a bit torn. It looks quite janky in many places, and parts like at 9:15 look blatantly unfinished for a game releasing in less than 3 months. On the other hand the art direction is really cool. I’ll have to wait for reviews on this one.

I’m interested in what they’re doing here, but a part of me just feels like going to live far away on a mountain completely off-grid and away from the digital world we’ve created
